Webkinz Year In Review
As is often the tradition around this time of year, we've taken a look back at all that's happened over the year past, and we thought we'd share our reflections. Here's are some of the highlights that defined Webkinz World, Webkinz Newz, and the Ganz eStore in 2009: The Zumbuddies came to Webkinz World, giving players the ability to visit the beautiful land of Zumwhere. The Caring Valley, where players can plant saplings to help Webkinz Foundation contribute to charitable causes, opened. Deluxe Membership was introduced, giving players another way to stay active in Webkinz World with exclusive items. It was also later expanded to allow the gifting of Deluxe Memberships. Signature Pets, a line of special, more luxurious pets with additional prizes, were launched. Those are just a few of the big stories for the year. Kick off 2010 in Style With A Sock Monkey
2010 is nearly upon us, and with the new year will come a plethora of new pets. The first pet to ring in the New Year will be the stylin’ Sock Monkey! There’s nothing quite as funky as a classic Sock Monkey! With its Copabanana Split and Puppet Theater, the Sock Monkey is the perfect playmate to ring in the New Year on a light-hearted note. This brand new pet will debut exclusively on the Ganz eStore New Year’s Day, so start 2010 off right with a silly, stylin’ Sock Monkey!
The Best Mustache In Webkinz World
Haven’t you heard about Mustache Louie? He’s got the best moustache in Webkinz World! Word has it he’s coming to town in January, riding in his jalopy with his hair all floppy!
Preview: Duck Crossing, Our New Arena Game
The Webkinz Arcade has received a lot of attention from us recently. Earlier this month, we launched Polarberry Jam and Jumbleberry Fields, two new games for the Arcade. What about the Tournament Arena, where you can play multiplayer games against your friends? We haven’t forgotten about the Arena, and this week, we’re giving you a sneak peek of our newest Arena game, Duck Crossing! Duck Crossing is a strategy game that requires planning and patience. Each player controls a duck, and the goal of the game is to move your duck from one end of the pond to the opposite end. Players take turns moving ducks one space at a time. Players can also spend a turn placing “reeds,” which are walls that the ducks cannot pass through. Strategically placing reeds is the trick to winning. Christmas Has Passed, But The Sales Live On!
While Christmas Day has come and gone, the sales in Webkinz World continue! There’s a whole bunch of different Christmas-themed items to buy this year that you’ll only be able to buy for a limited time. All of our special Christmas items can be found in the W Shop under “Room Themes” and then “Santakinz Workshop”. What should you buy? Well, the charming Cheery Chimney Fireplace will keep your Christmas spirit burning through to the New Year. Or what about a Merry Magic Sleigh Bed, where your Webkinz can dream sweet dreams of opening presents on Christmas Day every night? If neither of those suit your fancy, look no further than the Santakinz Desk, where you can plan out next Christmas’ surprises in the comfort of your Webkinz room! These are just a few of the great items on sale; there are more to discover in the W Shop. These items will only be available until January 5 and not January 6 as advertised on the items, so be sure you buy them while you can before Santakinz swoops them up in his sleigh and heads back home!

Jumbleberry Fields Is Now Live!
We had a big update this week which added some great new content, including two new games and a bunch of new items. Polarberry Jam has been very popular this week, and now you can begin to collect berries in Jumbleberry Fields, our new Daily Activity!
