Webkinz World is celebrating Christmas in a BIG way this year! Those of you that have been with us for a long time know that each Christmas you can spin the Super Wheel and get a special gift. That’s all still true, but this year you get to tell Santakinz what YOU want! Head on over to the Clubhouse and join the Santakinz room — click on Santakinz and line up to tell him which of three gifts you’d like to receive in your Christmas present this year! (And don’t forget to visit us on Christmas day to get your present.) |
| You may have seen Ms. Birdy in the Clubhouse, too — she’ll be returning to the Adoption Center today, but she’ll be back on December 14th. Ms. Birdy LOVES Christmas, and she’s going to help us celebrate this year! Starting on December 14th, Ms. Birdy will be giving one small gift each day — there are 12 gifts to collect! Ms. Birdy will be spending all day, every day from December 14th until the end of December 25th in the Clubhouse, so she won’t be hard to find. She only gives out one gift a day, so you’ll need to find her once a day for each of the 12 days to complete your collection.

This is a wonderful idea and sounds like so much fun! I must say I have some reservations about this starting on the fourteenth though. Any new feature should be expected to have glitches and if this doesn’t work properly, we will not be able to complete it by Christmas day. Also, many people will be traveling for Christmas and will not have the time to sit at the computer to wait for Ms. Birdy during the holiday. Could you start this sooner so everyone might have a chance at the fun? Thank you!

what rooms will Mrs Bridy and Santakinz be in?
With this being a busy travel time of year I hope there could be a bit more of a leway when it comes to Christmas Day. I was unable to get the Thanksgiving Basket this year for myself and other family members because we were visiting family. So if Ganz could find it in their hearts to make this year’s Christmas gift available for more then one day (say Dec 25 thru Dec 31) I think it would mean the world to all of their customers :)

I think that Ms. Birdy should arrive more often. With the Ghost in the Clubhouse this Halloween, I only managed to find 3 candies in the days it was there. I don’t know how I’ll be able to get 12 candies in 12 days with Ms. Birdy now!
Will Mrs Birdy be easier to find than the ghost? And What room will Santakinz be in?

Liz I agree with you about starting earlier due to traveling and family obligations. Or another option could be to allow collection of more than 1 item per day…this is such a great idea, but there will be those who will not be able to complete it because of ‘real life at Christmas’…which will be sad for many kids.
Why can’t we start searching for Ms. Birdy now? For those of us who are traveling for the holidays, it is going to be very difficult to find her all twelve times.
