Webkinz World is celebrating Christmas in a BIG way this year! Those of you that have been with us for a long time know that each Christmas you can spin the Super Wheel and get a special gift. That’s all still true, but this year you get to tell Santakinz what YOU want! Head on over to the Clubhouse and join the Santakinz room — click on Santakinz and line up to tell him which of three gifts you’d like to receive in your Christmas present this year! (And don’t forget to visit us on Christmas day to get your present.) |
| You may have seen Ms. Birdy in the Clubhouse, too — she’ll be returning to the Adoption Center today, but she’ll be back on December 14th. Ms. Birdy LOVES Christmas, and she’s going to help us celebrate this year! Starting on December 14th, Ms. Birdy will be giving one small gift each day — there are 12 gifts to collect! Ms. Birdy will be spending all day, every day from December 14th until the end of December 25th in the Clubhouse, so she won’t be hard to find. She only gives out one gift a day, so you’ll need to find her once a day for each of the 12 days to complete your collection.

For the most part the celebration and preparation for Christmas was fun for the whole family.
We were a bit disappointed that the Christmas theme had no outside trees or light poles. We were really looking forward to decorating both inside and outside of our Webbie homes and found the theme a little small.
My family loved the 12 days of Christmas and visiting Ms. Birdy! It was wonderful that Ms. Birdy was so easy find and we loved all the presents and only have one suggestion: the nutcracker needs to be bigger; he is very hard to see.
We loved visiting Santakinz and choosing a present to suit our individual choices, too.
Both these activities were fun and easy for everyone, from pre-K through adult.
As far as the Christmas Day presents, well the ones who received theirs were happy with them. But two family members are still waiting and of course they are children. It is really hard to make a pre-K child understand why they did not get a present. Tears and sadness from two children definitely dampened the mood of those who were lucky enough to get theirs.

Thank you Ganz for the wonderful Christmas gifts. We loved Santakinz and Ms. Birdy. It was so cool how we could wish for a gift from Santakinz and get our picture taken with him. All the gifts from Ms. Birdy are special.

I was very happy that I was able to find Ms.Birdy unlike the Ghost on Halloween and her gifts were wonderful unfortantly I missed the 2nd to the 7th gift because I was in the hospital. Thanks Ganz I LOVED the gifts I did get.
Miss Birdy: Was an AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME Idea, we loved ever single gift and the fun of searching for her, I thought she was 100% easier to find than that ghost and once a day was great, not every 2 or 3 hours, that was crazy. Did the Nutcracker have to be SO small though? You can barely see it =[
Santakinz: This was a classy move. Very well thought out and cute!!! Loved the whole idea of asking for what we wanted this year as well as getting a pre determined gift. The whole line idea was adorable as well.
Presents: As of 1:33am the Day AFTER Christmas, we have yet to receive our gifts on all 4 accts =[ This wasn’t planned out well. Very dissapointed in the gift delivery.
Christmas Card: It’s cute.
Christmas Theme: A little disapointed here. Everything was supposed to be back, plus more. But not even everything that USED to be there, was there. So.. not very happy.
*Ditto* Was very dissapointed that only one purple tree was in the wshop.. not even an outdoor tree was there =[ and why a purple tree and not a classic looking one? The purple theme tree doesn’t go with any of the other items =[
Christmas Pets: Peppermint Puppy was adorable. very cute PSI!!
Great job. Finding Ms Birdy was fun and sooo much easier than the Ghosts. The gifts were fun to collect and what a great way to see other animals. When my Christmas gift box comes tomorrow I know I will enjoy the gifts. The only thing I could ask for is more Christmas trees for us to buy from the W-shop. Trees for the indoors and outdoors. Again thank for a lot of fun.
Thank you for working so hard to fix all of the problems with the Christmas gift! You all are such hard workers and should be commended for working so diligently on a holiday! Thank you all!
Thank you Ganz for your communication updates today. Knowing you are working hard on behalf of keeping our Webkinz Christmas experience of the same high quality as the Webkinz pets we love and cherish helps keep things in perspective. Yes, it was frustrating with the HUGE build up to the Christmas celebration to not be able to reap the benefits of being loyal Webkinz supporters. I think Ganz delivered “big time” on the server response and general access to Webkinz World this holiday, it was so much better than in past years.
Myself and some family members have not yet received our Christmas package. But we know they are on the way and will be waiting when we visit Webkinz World tomorrow to register our new pets and other Ganz products we received for Christmas.
A big thanks to everyone that gave up their time with families today to keep Webkinz World the best virtual pet website ever.
Had fun with the Mrs.Birdy stuff, but I do think that it would have been better if we unlocked something… and, I hope that everyone’s Christmas gift will be here by tomorrow morning .
I still haven’t received my Christmas gift. I shouldn’t have had to be checking all day for the gift. It should have been announced early in the day that as long as you logged in once during the day, then you would receive your gift. Communication is the key. Please be honest.
