Recipe: Sweet Potato Chips

What you need:

-          2 medium sweet potatoes

-          2 tbsp. olive oil

-          Salt and pepper

-          Paprika

You will need an adult assistant to help you with this recipe.

Instructions

Preheat oven to 450°. Slice sweet potatoes as thinly as possible. Toss in olive oil and spread on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika. Bake for about 20 minutes.

This makes a lighter, healthier alternative to regular potato chips.

I like how it’s baked, not fried.

Anyway I’m pretty sure that yams would work for this recipe as well. I think they may be a little less sweet either that or more likely they’re less stringy than sweet potatoes. All I know is that my mom has always gotten yams and contrary to what some people think there is a difference I just can’t remember exactly what it was.
