Summer Vacation Contest Winners

My best summer vacation would be a few weeks in Great Britain. It is my dream to visit England. England has old houses and palaces and beautifully sculptured gardens. It also has Queen Elizabeth who I might be lucky and see in person. England has old towers, old bridges, old cobble stone streets, Big Ben and other old, old things. I would feel like I was in one of the classic novels like Wuthering Heights or The Tale of Two Cities. England has some interesting foods. I could have some real Fish and Chips. England would definitely be educational and in England I would feel comfortable because English is spoken there. So, I would be able to read and write and understand everything. Wish I was there. That is my dream. - Peyton

The best summer vacation ever would be a week trip around the world with all my Webkinz. We would go to Europe, Australia, Antarctica, China, Japan, Canada, and Hawaii. We would have fun surfing giant waves in Hawaii, we would ski the slopes in Canada, we would eat crazy foods in Japan, eat with chopsticks in China, save some penguins in Antarctica, interact with kangaroos in Australia, and relax at the spa in Europe. I would invite all my friends and family and all their Webkinz. We will have so much fun and probably wish it had lasted a year. – Zane

My vacation would be a dream come true for everyone! It starts out at a airport. You are in a line for the plane to Hollywood. When you get to the front of the line your mom gives the lady your tickets. The lady says. “Congratulation! We upgraded you to first class.” You and mom “eek” with happiness. After the fun plane ride you arrive at your hotel at 11:00a.m. You still have lots of time before bedtime. On your way to see the Hollywood sights, you stop at a gas station to get your car cleaned and refilled. While you’re waiting your mom decides to go in the store. When she comes back you see her jumping with a big smile on here face. “I won the lottery!” she says. After a long day of going to places that cost a fortune and even meeting famous people you sleep soundly in the 5 star hotel bed. – Mayowa

The best summer vacation I could ever think of is a land made of candy called Candyland. Everything would be made of candy. Rocks would be made of rock candy; waterfalls would be made of sweet, sugary, blue koolade; red carpets made of red bubblegum sticks and even cameras made of hardened icing. No more stinky vegetables like spinach, broccoli or Brussels sprouts. There is no doubt about it being every kid in the world’s dream. But a warning to all who are afraid of the dentist: you are going to have a lot of trips to the dentist. But if you want to avoid cavities and root canals let me tell you a secret: there are toothbrush stations so you can go there and brush your teeth (No, the toothbrush and toothpaste is not edible.) And most people think candy can cause health problems like being overweight, but this candy is healthy (but with no veggies). So in conclusion, the best summer vacation would a land made of candy called Candyland. – Pooja

MY best summer would be going to the moon. I would collect moon rocks and shooting stars to put in my lucky charms. And if it was possible I would take a picture of the sun with one of my Webkinz. – Rebekah
