Baby Showcase #130

Happy Thursday!

I’m so excited that the River Otter is out. Did you take part in the first live Spark Party? We had a couple of hiccups that are getting looked at, but we got to spark in front of people and got to watch a ton of people spark babies. It was so much fun! We should have a video coming out soon — if you sparked during the Spark Party, you may see your baby and our reactions in the video!

First up is a baby River Otter, of course! This gorgeous frosty blue color is so lovely and I think the husky’s head pattern here looks really good! This baby has tons of lovely traits, including the golden snail pet patch, that cool trident back pattern and the fun river reed chest pattern. This cutie comes with purple ears and glittering green paws — a lovely combination of cool colors!

Next up is another baby River Otter, also with the river reed chest patch and golden snail pet patch! This one’s purple ears are paired with the pretty glittering blue opal paws and those teal eyes look lovely. I’m a big fan of the hyena spots, since they add so much visual interest.

Now this White Bunny baby inherited some River Otter traits — those soulful dark eyes and the fun rock juggling pet patch. I love the chocolate color, and there’s a fun mix of heart (on the back) and lightning (on the legs). The peach tail looks almost the same color as the body, but the mahogany chest fur stands out nicely. The pink ears and teal paws give a pretty pop of color!

Next is another White Bunny baby with the River Otter eyes and pet patch! This seems to be a popular combination, and I have to say that I did the same thing on Tuesday. This one reminds me of my first White Bunny baby, with different colored ears, chest patch and feet. Love these babies!

Now this baby River Otter has many signs of spring! Not only does it have the spring fawn horn and daisy pet patch, those green paws remind me of spring leaves, and the pink opal ears make me think of flowers! The zebra pattern on the back adds a nice bit of texture, too!

Can you spot a theme? I just love the Holland Lop’s eye patch on the River Otter baby. This one also features the updated red juggling balls pet patch (look ma, no hands!) The tan paws don’t distract from this very naturally colored pet — I’m sure Mandy would love this one!

More up my alley is this cutie that has the in-your-face pink feet and rainbow pet patch. The teal eyes are also quite adorable, and you can never go wrong with a bit of rainbow flair on a tail!

This is one fancy husky! I adore the rainbow unicorn sparkle feet, and you can never go wrong with a green body color in my books. This cutie has some northern lights flair, blue shimmery ears, crimson eyes, pink pixie tiger feathers, and some cool leg markings. There’s a lot going on here and I love it!

Back to River Otters! This one has the new redbelly minnow pet patch and looks darker overall because of a French Bulldog back pattern! The purple French Bulldog eyes go prefectly with the glittering pink opal paws, and that waterproof chest patch is adorable.

We’ve got another chocolate bunny with those gorgeous River Otter eyes and rock juggling pet patch. I love the purple feathers here with the pink chest ruff and teal paws. So colorful!

Last but not least, I had to show this gorgeous gorilla. I don’t think I’ve seen this color in the showcasebefore and it’s beautiful! And that pet patch is literally on fire. The party eyes go perfectly with the bold pink patches — such a cool looking pet!

That’s it for this week — we hope to have the spark party video ready to share soon. We’ve got some fixes in the works to take care of the issues that cropped up on Tuesday and we’re looking forward to a smooth Spark Party on Webkinz Day! Do you have a favorite baby this week? Is there a new limited edition pet? I saw a blue sloth in the baby showcase on April 24th.

These otter babies are just so adorable! Diamond Winterswirl, you were really blessed with two stunning and yet uniquely different otter pups. I would be thrilled to get one like these. What parent pets were used? I love seeing all of the different traits and figuring out which pet must have contributed to each. Sally, I too have never seen a gorilla with these colors or that subtle head marking. Do you know which parent pets were used for this one? Congrats to all of the featured new Next parents!

We need a place to comment about stuff in the Next and Classic game. Right now our concerns get have to be dumped in unrelated threads. You said the academy classes would be tweaked and the easy spelling is way harder than med. and hard because there aren’t enough tries and way too many possibilities once you figure out a few letters. We almost always get the hard and medium puzzle and seldom get the easy one. Please consider. (-:
