Baby Showcase #139

Happy Thursday! Not only is tomorrow the summer solstice, it’s also #WorldGiraffeDay and the virtual Giraffe will be making a special appearance at the Adoption Center on Webkinz Next, along with a never before released rare version! We’re celebrating with a Spark Party at 3:30pm – 4:30pm KinzTime, so we hope to see you there!

First up is this superhero bunny! The Cotton Candy Raccoon face mask really makes this pet look super — especially with the big Xs on the back and ears, and those lightning legs! What do you think this pet’s superhero name would be?

Next up is this lovely Holland Lop — it’s got the giraffe spots back, which looks wonderful with the purple flame body color. This pet was a the result of a Holland Lop and Gingerbread Puppy, but the Gingerbread Puppy only passed on River Otter traits! I do love those deep, dark River Otter eyes on other pets, though.

This gorgeous Pixie Tiger has an interesting set of patterns — just look at that back! What really drew my attention was the Pixie Sunset ears. Those are truly gorgeous. There’s also a subtle electrical pattern to the face stripes, and those hot pink feathers are fantastic!

The purple green body color is definitely one of my favorites, especially when combined with the shimmer tiger stripes. The sapphire eyes and the bit of rainbow flair also coordinate nicely. While this pet has mostly elephant features, it does have that cute treble clef pet patch from a pig!

First of a couple of Unicorns! While Unicorns are mostly white, they usually have a lovely contrast color that shows up with back patterns, like this one! The giraffe spots here look great, and the rainbow leg flair looks amazing because one side ends at a golden heart! I love the little star patch on the chest, and the candy rainbow feet are adorable!

Next up is this more yellow themed Unicorn — and it looks fabulous with the Totally Toad back pattern, a Green Frog trait! It really adds a lot of color and texture to the back. The front is a bit more subtle, but the rainbow flair looks great with those blue sparkle feet, and the hint of rainbow in the ears is adorable!

Last but not least is this chocolate Gingerbread Puppy! I absolutely adore the French Bulldog head/back pattern on this pet — it’s really striking. This baby inherited the ears and eyes from a Pinktastic Lion, and I htink they look great. A more subtle holiday pet, but an adorable one!

That’s it for this week. I’m deciding what to spark tomorrow, though there will be at least 1 giraffe! See you at the spark party tomorrow!

I’m sorry if this has been answered somewhere, search doesn’t turn up anything, but how do I know my pet’s rarity? And is there any easier way to find out how many sparks my pets have without taking them all to the adoption center?

Great baby showcase this week! I would love to know what name Gray Autumnsky chose for their superhero bunny. I would reference the lightning bolts and go for Thunderhead (but with no cape! Haha!) I LOVE the purple flame body color on the Holland Lop and am still waiting for one of my own. I agree with you Sally, that the river otter eyes look so soulful. I really love all that’s going on with the pixie tiger, particularly the ears. I also am a huge fan of the gradient coloring on the elephant. Is that their super rare color? As I am a big fan of unicorns, (I have a huge herd on my main account), the next two babies are some of my favorites. I have never seen that one back pattern on a unicorn and find the frog influence to be interesting. Lastly, that chocolate gingerbread puppy is simply scrumptious! I have a darker one with little white snowflakes on the back that look like mini marshmallows so I named it Cocoa, but this dark chocolate puppy is on a whole different level. That beautiful wreath pet patch and those gorgeous silver glittery ears show up so well against this deep velvety color. Congrats to all of the featured new Next parents!

Believe it or not, that particular color gradient for the elephant is common!

It’s Gray Autumnsky, here! I sure was tempted to name my bunny something superhero-themed, but I have sixty bunnies – all with food names. I’m a bit of a stickler for the rules (even if they’re self-imposed), so I named her Huckleberry. She joins her blue bunny sisters Blueberry, Blackberry, and Cornflower.
