Every time you go mining for gems in Webkinz Next there is a chance you will collect some slag in your search for gems. That slag you collect can be used in crafting recipes!
In fact there are two recipes that can be made using ONLY slag. If you have been saving up your gems or materials you can still craft the Wrought Iron Flowers and Wrought Iron Sconce without having to use any other crafting materials.
These gorgeous accessories will look amazing in your pet’s home!

I love the sconce. It’s nice to make a couple of extra to put in the trade book as well. I’ve always thought that the flowers look like something that my hubby would make.

Hallelujah! Preach it sister! The sconce brings in 75 KC (82 KC for a level 5 pet), and the flowers selll for 25 KC (27 for a level 5 pet). I would love to see even more slag recipes – maybe some using slag, soil, and hardwood. I have SO much of these in my dock, and not enough things to do with them. I sold a lot of them, but at 1 KC a piece, it’s a little frustrating. Still, it’s 3000 KC more than I had before.
I never sell anything the sell back prices are too low. Better to garden and sell crops.
