How to Adopt a Virtual Pet in Webkinz Next

Follow along as I adopt a new Legendary Dragon!

Adopting a new pet in Webkinz Next is easy and exciting. I’m adopting a new Legendary Dragon today! Follow along as I meet my new pet and bring him home.
 
 
To visit the Adoption Center, let’s click the icon beside the Kinzville Map.
 
 

There’s Ms. Biscuits! We just have to click on her cash register to view the available pets.
 
 

Most pets cost 150 Diamonds but the Legendary Dragon’s unique features and ability to pass those traits down make it an extra-special pet. Plus, the Legendary Dragon is Uncommon pet which means when you spark with them, your baby has a higher chance at increased rarity. As such, this premium virtual pet is available in the Adoption Center for 200 Diamonds.
 
 

Now that I’ve adopted my Legendary Dragon, it’s time to give them a name.
 
 

I’ll answer Darren’s first pet request to receive their pet specific gift.
 
 

Once I place the gift in my home, I’ll just click on it to open it.
 
 

You can place the Legendary Dragon’s Pet Specific Item (PSI), the Treasure Horde Throne, indoors or outdoors.
 
 

Now that I’ve brough Darren home, I love him so much, I can’t help myself—I am heading back to the Adoption Center to use one of his sparks right away!
 
 

The Legendary Dragon’s horns and wings can each be passed down to your babies. These features look adorable on my new baby….cat-dragon? Tabragon?
