Sunflower and Cornstalk Recipes

Gardening Exclusives from the Farm Life Season

This Season, players can win a crafting recipe for Corn Stalks! Be sure to start growing the only ingredient you’ll need—corn! Corn Stalks can be built right on your Crafting Table.

Create an unlimited number of Corn Stalks using corn crops from your own garden.

The Corn Stalk is not a Growing Garden crop—it’s a garden decoration! Use them to decorate your farm or garden with these classic country crops. You can even design wild mazes to stump even your corniest pets.

And that’s not all! Season Pass holders will be rewarded with a recipe card for beautiful Sunflowers.

Place these bright blooms in your garden and let them shine. Sunflowers yield Salt and Pepper Seeds, which can be planted in your Gardener’s Plot for a chance at a double yield. Each Sunflower can be harvested up to 30 times.

Plus, there’s an extra salty twist to these seeds: if you feed a Salt and Pepper Seed to your pet, there’s a chance to get a BBQ Seed.

And if you feed a BBQ Seed to your pet, you may get the Candy Coated Seed!

Will you collect all three seeds?

I love the new fall colors when you go to the town square!

I would like to see a recipe for some chickens to put outside on our farm and around our new coupe. It would be nice if it could rotate to be a rooster, hen, or baby chicks. Of course they would need to be able to go outside. Please don’t make chickens that can’t go outside. It would help add some atmosphere to our farm property.

I didn’t think about putting it in the Garden Plot! As soon as there’s room, I’m going to move it. So far, I’ve only gotten Salt and Pepper ones.

By your word placement, you clearly stated the opposite. “Sunflowers yield Salt and Pepper Seeds” should be moved to the end of the paragraph. As written this was not only confusing but also incorrect grammar.

Dorothy Lou, do you think Ganz will go the extra mile and make a recipe that uses all three? Maybe one that could yield a super exclusive item!

Hi, I’m confused: “Sunflowers yield Salt and Pepper Seeds, which can be planted in your Gardener’s Plot for a chance at a double yield”. Should we plant the SUNFLOWER in the Gardener’s Plot? Or the sunflower seeds that the sunflower dispenses? Thanks!

The harvested items are just food. You need to plant the sunflowers

gionfrid, you have good reason to be confused. That sentence is structured completely incorrectly. It should read: “Sunflowers, which can be planted in your Gardener’s Plot for a chance at a double yield, yield Salt and Pepper Seeds.” The new sentence is still clumsy, but at least it is correct.
