A striped superstar trots into Webkinz World!
You may have heard that 12 new Webkinz plush are hitting the shelves this fall! Let’s get to know one of our most striking pets—the Zebra! Here’s a look at the plush and, since you can adopt your plush in both Webkinz Classic and Webkinz Next, here’s a look at both virtual pets:
The Zebra is bold, bright, and full of energy! With its classic black-and-white stripes plus a fluffy black mane and tail, this pet is always ready to lead the herd in style.
Your Zebra comes with its very own Safari Rain Shower, a luxurious outdoor shower where your pet can freshen up after a day of wild fun.
And when it’s time for a bite to eat, nothing satisfies like a Savory Sedge Salad—fresh, crisp greens straight from the plains!

Dorothy Lou, thank you for this quick meet the zebra video. I am in love with Zephyr, your Next zebra. It looks different somehow than the current Next pets. Crisper, shinier, more realistic movements? I’m not sure, but I think there’s something that’s been tweaked. Good job, design and tech teams!
I’m so happy to see the way these new plush pets look. I have a question, Are the original plush brought back or are they a new design?
This reminds me a lot more of classic plush!! I love this direction. I know a lot of other people miss the old plush style too.
I miss the classic plush as well but i get it. They may not be able to get the same metareals which was used back then. As well as there are probably different designers working on the plush. I know they are trying to be as close to classic plush as they can. But if the metareals are not available they can’t do anything about that. Some of the plush look really different from the original. Like the chihuahua which looks like it has a corgi face with lighter brown and some chihuahua. But the gecko plush looks really similar to the lemon lime gecko. This is just my opinion. But i am glad they are bringing back classic plush even if some look a little different then what they used to be. Thank you Webkinz for 20 years and counting.
Forgot to say this. The zebra plush looks really like the zebra foul plush. They did a good job being so close.
