My favorite thing to do in the winter is going sledding. You can make any type of path that you want, an icy, bumpy, short, long, zig-zag and many more! I love the feeling of happiness as you are gliding down the hill. It may be a trek up, but it is all worth it. I especially love going to a HUGE sledding hill and bringing one of my friends. So grab your toboggan/sled and go sledding today! – Olivia

My favorite things to do outdoors in the winter are playing snowball fights with all of your friends, building snow forts, building a big huge snow man, making snow angels, making a big huge hill at the bottom of your swing set slide, sledding down big or steep hills, making snow balls for your snow forts, making a big huge snow tunnel, finding icicles and eating them, and making chairs out of snow and sitting in them while drinking hot chocolate! Those are my favorite things I love to do outdoors in the winter! Happy winter to all! – Cecilia

My favorite thing to do on a snowy winter day is building a fort and then challenging my friends to a snowball fight. We go around shoveling peoples drives and then go to a little diner and treat ourselves to a warm meal and of course…..HOT CHOCOLATE!!!! We sometimes go sledding and see who can win in some sledding races. If you have never been on a snowy scavenger hunt then you would have fun if you like mysteries and puzzles.We usually end the day with a sleepover, popcorn, and some T.V. And that’s what I like to do on a snowy day, spending it with friends! – Autumn

My favorite thing to do outdoors in the winter is make snow igloos! You’re probably thinking, “Isn’t that like snow castles or forts?” But it’s much more fun! First you need a place big enough and LOTS of snow! Then you make snow blocks, as big as you want them! And you stack them on top of each other and keep on going until you’ve made a dome! Once you’ve got that done then you can make tunnels and windows! You can even decorate by putting lights on the igloo or add color to the snow. One time I made a igloo, my friends and I had a party in it until it got too cold. And after we had hot cocoa! YUM. – Helen

My favorite thing to do in the winter is play in the snow with friends. We all go outside and ride sleds down hills. If the road is icy, we can sled across the ice. It is so fun! Once we do that we all go into one of our houses and make snow cream. We then sit by the warm fire and we drink hot chocolate. This is my favorite thing to do during winter. - Gabby
