Elwin and I have designed a few kitchens in our time. We redecorated Chef Gazpacho’s house, redid Fluffington’s kitchen, and even redesigned our dad’s kitchen (he was actually our first client!). The Rabbit family’s kitchen was a lot of fun to redesign. We had a really big room to work with, and the only things they requested were:
1. A breakfast nook
2. An island
3. LOTS of storage
Easy, right? Here’s what we ended up with:
Hailey and I love, love, LOVE the modern look of this room. The wallpaper and flooring work just perfectly with the high-end appliances and breakfast nook. This kitchen is almost professional enough for a chef like Gazpacho!
Cool,nice kitchen.
I don’t see much of an “island” or “storage space” there, and the walls and floors both look cool, but together, not so much.
This room looks amazing. I especially love the walls and floors. The colors are beautiful.
I LOVE that kitchen! I’d luv to have that!
I totally love that kitchen! I really want to have it, soooooooooooooo cooL! Rachel:)
I lile the room, but didn’t they request ‘LOTS of storage’? There are only two refridgerators! and WAY too much extra space, I completely agree with KK.
I love the wallpaper and flooring. GREAT room
There is just too much space in that kitchen. Maybe a medium room would’ve worked better. ~()PL4Ever()~
Pretty neat kitchen! I think you need some practice though…It’s not exactly efficient. Especially when you have kids who want to eat, and a screaming baby. Need a high chair ’cause they probably won’t eat in the dining room that often. Agree about the couches, stain prone, but pretty cool concept anyway. By the way, Where’s the before picture!!!!! Was it too horrible, or was it actually okay. Or…I s this what it looked like and you guys just added the white couches!!!!! If this is what is the fact then you guys are sneaks! Which is pretty hard to be since you’re elephants.
