The day before the first day of school for Jack, the Jackalope, was probably the most nerve racking day any Webkinz could ever have. You see Jack isn't like many other rabbits. He wasn't like any other Webkinz for that matter. Jack's antlers were the focus of his nervousness. That night while taking one last nap in his Tall Tales Forest, before the summer ended, Jack thought about all the things that could go wrong. What if they mistake my antlers for a coat rack? That next morning Jack was greeted by a delightful Ms. Cowoline and the other eager pupils. The first thing Jack heard, as he walked into the classroom, was "Cool antlers! I wish I had a pair." At that moment Jack knew that he was going to be just fine. – Andrew
Jamie Jackalope's First Day of School. Jamie Jackalope was excited for her first day of school. Her parents, Ann T. Lope and Jack Rabbit, drove her to school. Everyone was shocked to see her. Everyone whispered about her. Jamie did not like school. One kid named Bess Beagle asked her what she was. Jamie answered, "I'm a cross between an antelope and a rabbit." Another kid named Leon Lion told her "You don't exist!" That hurt Jamie. She told her teacher, Ms. Peggy and Ms Peggy replied, "Oh, don't worry, my name is Peggy Pegasus. Technically, neither of us exist!" After that, Jamie liked school with her magical teacher! – Mckenzie
It was Jackalope's first day of school and he was scared to meet his fellow classmates. He didn't know how they would react to his jumping from place to place. He couldn't contain himself, as his legs had rubber in them and he just had to jump. As he jumped his way to school, he was aware of the other kids watching him. He wanted to say "hi," but he jumped right by. He was the first one in class as he had jumped by everyone else. Jackalope was so upset he could hardly wait for school to be over so he could just jump home and hide. The teacher announced to the class that there would be a jump rope contest at recess. Everyone had to pick groups of 3. Two to hold the rope and one to jump. Jackalope was surprised to hear every one asking for him! The kids had to pull straws to have Jackalope on their team! Of course, Jackalope was the jump-rope winner and learned two valuable lessons on that day: Be yourself and that it takes a team to win! -Mary
Jack Jackalope was nervous. He saw the Kinzville Academy through the window. He suppressed a groan. He had moved from a place called Mesa Verde to Kinzville a few weeks ago. He was so nervous that he wouldn't have any friends. He gulped. He felt his tail quiver with fear. What if the other animals made fun of his antlers. They got to the Academy. He saw a citrus dragon sitting nervously on the bench in front of the school. He went over and sat by him. The dragon looked nervously at him. "I'm new here," said the dragon. "So am I!" exclaimed Jack. He didn't think there would be someone else like him, new and nervous. The dragon grinned. "My name is Brett," it said. "I'm Jack," said Jack,"Let's be friends." "Ok,” said Brett. So from that moment on, they watched each others backs, solving mysteries and having fun. – Jacob
The Jackalope's first day of school was great! He was a bit nervous. When he first got there, he met a squirrel named Alvin. The first subject was math; he learned two plus two equals four. The next subject was language; he learned about nouns and verbs. Next was lunch. He sat next to Alvin, and they played on the swings and the slide together. In spelling, they learned how to spell "Stadium." Now the fun part of the day came when they had gym in the gymnasium. First they ran three laps. Then they played Dodge Ball, but all of a sudden it turned black outside. The kids were very scared , then they realized the gymnasium turned into a spaceship and went around the planets. They stopped at the moon to get some moon rocks, soon and the gymnasium landed right back where it was before, and they left the gymnasium confused but excited. They were soon back doing history and science, and before they new it, it was time to go home. That was the Jackalope's first day of school. – Rebekah
