Kinz for Kids Fundraising Program FAQ

How do we raise funds for our school or organization through Kinz for Kids?

 

When your community shops at the Webkinz store (ganzestore.com), 20% of their purchase price is donated directly back to your school or organization.

 

We will provide you with a unique promo code that can be used by your community when making purchases.

 

We will also provide you with a unique link to our store that can be added to your website. Purchases made through the link also count toward your fundraising, provided they are made within 30 days of the link being clicked.

 

All Webkinz-related items – thousands of virtual and plush pets, virtual items, membership upgrades and eStore Point purchases – available at ganzestore.com are eligible.

 

 

Do we need to pay anything upfront?

 

Your school or organization does not pay any fees to Ganz for the Kinz for Kids program at any time. You simply share the promo code and/or link with your students, friends and family. When they shop, you get paid.

 

 

How do we sign up?

 

Email us at Kinzforkids@ganz.com and we will contact you and connect you with our affiliate provider. They will collect your payment details including the bank account you would like your funds donated to. Once your payment details are set up, we will send you a Kinz for Kids Package to get you started.

 

 

How do we share the program information with our school or organization?

 

When you sign up, we will supply you with flyers to share with your community. Each full color printed flyer includes a promo code unique to your school. We also include a digital version for emailing purposes and a unique link to add to your website.

 

 

When will we receive payment?

 

Payment is made 15 days from the end of the month in which transactions take place.

 

 

What type of support will we receive?

 

Kinz for Kids will send you a package including printed flyers, and printable activity sheets that can be copied and shared, and a teacher’s guide with creative ways to use Webkinz in the classroom for schools. We will also send you a digital version of the flyer for email purposes and a unique link for your website.

What type of schools can participate?

 

Elementary schools are best suited to the Kinz for Kids program. Webkinz World® is a multi-award winning virtual world for boys and girls aged 6 to 12.

 

 

Does the promo code expire?

 

We will set up each promo code to run for one year from the time of sign-up. At the end of each year, the promo code can be reactivated to run for another year.

 

 

Can we set a fundraising deadline?

 

If you are attempting to raise funds by a certain date, we can set a pre-determined expiry date of your choosing for your fundraiser to encourage urgency with your community.

 

 

Can we raise funds for more than one school through the Kinz for Kids program?

 

Yes. If you are part of a school board, or organization that represents more than one school, you may set up promo codes for each participating school. Each school will need to provide separate payment details to our affiliate provider and payments will be made separately to each school.

 

 

Are any items on the Webkinz store excluded from this offer?

Any item purchased for cash using a credit card is eligible. While purchases of our premium currency, eStore Points, are eligible, purchases made using Points are not.

 

 

Can organizations other than schools such as sports teams or scouts participate in the Kinz for Kids program?

 

Sure! Email us at kinzforkids@ganz.com with your organization’s details and we will reach out to you to discuss whether Kinz for Kids is a good fit for your organization.
