Wow! What a fantastic response to our pet design contest! We had over 3,000 entries and as always it was tricky narrowing the list down. Because it was so difficult to choose, in honor of Webkinz’ 15th anniversary this year, we decided to select 15 finalists!
Now we want to hear what you think! The winning pet will be sold in Ganz eStore starting on Webkinz Day, April 29, 2020.
As always, we look at concepts that we believe would be a great fit for Webkinz World. We are not judging the entries based on artistic talent, but on ideas that we think would make great pets. Please keep that in mind when you make your selection. Whichever pet we select, the Webkinz art department will work their magic to make it fit the Webkinz style.
While the final decision is up to the Webkinz creative department, we will take your input in consideration when making our final choice. Check out the 15 finalists and let us know in the comments below which one is YOUR favorite.

The winner will have their design turned into a real virtual pet in Webkinz World and they will receive a code for their pet when it is added to Webkinz World. They will also receive a 1 Month Deluxe Membership to Webkinz, a virtual Pet Design Trophy, and all ten finalists will each receive a 6 pack of 2020 Winterfest Cookies, courtesy of Ganz eStore.
I really like the tanuki, the elkhound, and the kudu. The bubbles google is also really cute.

CONGRATS to all the finalist!!! So many absolutely wonderful pet ideas! This is difficult to vote on (although not as difficult as narrowing down 3000+ to just 15, wow). For me, first place goes to the BUBBLE GOOGLE! I’m partial to the googles and this idea is amazingly cute! The Stained Glass Turtle comes in second place. What a colorful and adorable idea for the typical turtle shell pattern! And in third place would be the Golden Peacock. So beautiful and elegant. I am looking forward to the final results. :) Idea…. Webkinz, for your 15th anniversary would you consider making real pet plushy? Please =D
WOW!! I think the only drawback to working at Ganz is having to choose the winners of the player contests!! I honestly don’t know how you guys do it! Okay so having said that and after browsing these off and on for over an hour I am going to say my very first love was the Stained Glass Turtle! She is absolutely gorgeous. But I do LOVE them all!! So many talented people in the Webkinz player group. I am blown away. I also love the Patchwork Giraffe. It reminds me of a plush I had as a child. I can’t believe it is 15 years already! I remember when I started with Webkinz way back in 2006. Go Webkinz Go!
I really like the Stained Glass Turtle and the Moonberry Dragon. The Golden Peacock is probably my third-place choice. I had really liked the Bubbles Googles until my mom got confused thinking I already had that one, causing me to realize it is almost identical to the Snowy Googles.

Wow, these are some incredible designs! ^-^ Great job and congrats to all the finalists!! :D As much as I love all of these, though, I think my favorites would have to be the Tanuki (I’d never heard of it before, but I looked it up and it is adorable! Plus, I just really like it when Ganz makes more unique animals that lots of people aren’t familiar with =] ), Golden Peacock (I think this one looks super pretty and elegant! ^-^ ), Elkhound (I just really the look of that one, plus it’s a dog breed they actually don’t have a Webkinz of yet), and the Greater Kudu (again, another unique animal that I think would make a really neat Webkinz) Good luck to all, and I can’t wait to see which design wins! =)
