Wow! What a fantastic response to our pet design contest! We had over 3,000 entries and as always it was tricky narrowing the list down. Because it was so difficult to choose, in honor of Webkinz’ 15th anniversary this year, we decided to select 15 finalists!
Now we want to hear what you think! The winning pet will be sold in Ganz eStore starting on Webkinz Day, April 29, 2020.
As always, we look at concepts that we believe would be a great fit for Webkinz World. We are not judging the entries based on artistic talent, but on ideas that we think would make great pets. Please keep that in mind when you make your selection. Whichever pet we select, the Webkinz art department will work their magic to make it fit the Webkinz style.
While the final decision is up to the Webkinz creative department, we will take your input in consideration when making our final choice. Check out the 15 finalists and let us know in the comments below which one is YOUR favorite.

The winner will have their design turned into a real virtual pet in Webkinz World and they will receive a code for their pet when it is added to Webkinz World. They will also receive a 1 Month Deluxe Membership to Webkinz, a virtual Pet Design Trophy, and all ten finalists will each receive a 6 pack of 2020 Winterfest Cookies, courtesy of Ganz eStore.
Wow!! So many fantastic entries!! The Australian Cattle Dog is fully detailed but I’m torn between the Greater Kudu (because I love that there is so many other wonderful animal species out there we have yet to see) and the Icelandic Horse. Absolutely gorgeous drawing, I can see his fur blowing in the cold winds! Good luck to all!

aw man I didn’t get through.. but these finalists are great! I like underrated and widely unknown species so my favorites are probably…. the elkhound, The greater kudu and the pangolin! :)

All are great but narrowed it down to two for my preferences – Moonberry Dragon and Australian Cattledog. I had hope to see an Alien but guess I will have to wait for next contest. Thanks to everyone who entered!!!
I love the Moonberry Dragon, too! I love all my dragons, and I’m hoping (fingers all crossed) that maybe Webkinz will come up with dragons for ALL the berries! =D That would be awesome!

Congrats everyone! Man I am not sure i can choose a favorite but the cactus cat, golden peacock and the pet breeds/animals that we haven’t seen in Webkinz world yet would be my choices!
