Wow! What a fantastic response to our pet design contest! We had over 3,000 entries and as always it was tricky narrowing the list down. Because it was so difficult to choose, in honor of Webkinz’ 15th anniversary this year, we decided to select 15 finalists!
Now we want to hear what you think! The winning pet will be sold in Ganz eStore starting on Webkinz Day, April 29, 2020.
As always, we look at concepts that we believe would be a great fit for Webkinz World. We are not judging the entries based on artistic talent, but on ideas that we think would make great pets. Please keep that in mind when you make your selection. Whichever pet we select, the Webkinz art department will work their magic to make it fit the Webkinz style.
While the final decision is up to the Webkinz creative department, we will take your input in consideration when making our final choice. Check out the 15 finalists and let us know in the comments below which one is YOUR favorite.

The winner will have their design turned into a real virtual pet in Webkinz World and they will receive a code for their pet when it is added to Webkinz World. They will also receive a 1 Month Deluxe Membership to Webkinz, a virtual Pet Design Trophy, and all ten finalists will each receive a 6 pack of 2020 Winterfest Cookies, courtesy of Ganz eStore.
Ooh, gosh I love these designs here, they’re amazing to look at! ;D I think my favorites would have to be the Bubble Googles, Patched Giraffe, Stained Glass Turtle, Greater Kudu, Cotton Candy Capybara, Cactus Cat, and the Australian Cattledog! :) But in all, I think all of these designs here are amazing anyway! Best of luck to the finalists! I can’t wait to see which pet design wins! ^-^

The cactus cat is so cute (and also makes me want a cactus googles)! I also really liked the patchwork giraffe, tanuki, and elkhound. Great job everyone!
Since this website was designed for kids then my vote goes for the hand drawn artists’ entries. I love the patched giraffe!

I have a sort of random question. If the pet that is chosen does not have a psi/pdf, and there is another contest for it, will things like clothes be accepted for the psi?
Yes, clothes have been the special items for pets before.
