As the Zingoz Celebration wraps up in Webkinz Next on May 25, we’re sharing a few behind-the-scenes facts about one of Webkinz World’s most iconic games: Wacky Zingoz!
1. Wacky and Zangoz share a voice!
Both Wacky Zingoz and his pal Zangoz are voiced by none other than Webkinz Creative Director Karl Borst! He gave both characters their signature charm—and a whole lot of personality.
2. Wacky’s catchphrases are fun for a reason!
We wanted to make sure players knew Wacky was loving the game just as much as they were. That’s why we gave him enthusiastic lines like: “That was fun!”
3. Over 500,000 voice-chip Wacky plushies were sold!
It’s true! The Wacky plush with the built-in voice chip was a massive hit, with more than half a million sold to fans all over the world.
4. His pointy head inspired some extra fun
When the team designed Wacky’s wedge-shaped head, we knew exactly what to do—have him head into the ground, literally!
5. There have been FOUR Wacky Zingoz trophies!
Through the years, Wacky Zingoz has featured a rotating cast of trophies for top scorers, including:

Master Blaster 600 Trophy
Slugger 600 Trophy
Wacky Wizard 600 Trophy

I was never able to get the whacky plush, but I had wanted one so badly. I only have one of the trophy’s unfortunately lol
I didn’t know the plushes had a voice chip! That’s so cool! Wish I had adult money back in the day lol
I am lucky to have all 4 trophies as well as the wacky plush. The voice does not work anymore but I still love it. You should remake it as a plush you will sell out in no time!
I agree, Ganz should remake the Wacky Zingos with voice chip again. I’m sure a ton of them would sell including a couple to me.
I had a Wacky plush too! I won him playing a game of real-life Zingoz Bingoz at a party supply store, a very fond memory for me!
This reminded me that I used to have a Wacky plush back in the day! I miss him so much now T-T
I’ve received all 4 trophies and I have The Wacky plush. I love wacky so much. He’s my favorite. I try to get extra wacky plushies so I can put 1 in each room of pets I put on.
