As the Zingoz Celebration wraps up in Webkinz Next on May 25, we’re sharing a few behind-the-scenes facts about one of Webkinz World’s most iconic games: Wacky Zingoz!

1. Wacky and Zangoz share a voice!

Both Wacky Zingoz and his pal Zangoz are voiced by none other than Webkinz Creative Director Karl Borst! He gave both characters their signature charm—and a whole lot of personality.
 
 

2. Wacky’s catchphrases are fun for a reason!

 
 

We wanted to make sure players knew Wacky was loving the game just as much as they were. That’s why we gave him enthusiastic lines like: “That was fun!”
 
 

3. Over 500,000 voice-chip Wacky plushies were sold!

 
 

It’s true! The Wacky plush with the built-in voice chip was a massive hit, with more than half a million sold to fans all over the world.
 
 

4. His pointy head inspired some extra fun

 
 

When the team designed Wacky’s wedge-shaped head, we knew exactly what to do—have him head into the ground, literally!
 
 

5. There have been FOUR Wacky Zingoz trophies!
