5 Ways to Improve Your Mazin’ Run Game

Use these tips to improve your game!

Mazin’ Run is a super fun game in Webkinz Next but those twisting mazes can be frustrating!

The best way to get better at Mazin’ is to practice your jump timing and maze-solving skills. While I constantly find myself getting lost and running out of time, I’ve learned a few tricks along the way to make my gameplay faster and more enjoyable.

Here are 5 ways to improve your Mazin’ game.

Look ahead

The key to solving these mazes is to identify the general direction of the finish.

If you find yourself on a longer aisle, look up into the scenery. Make a mental note of where the final coral is and keep turning towards it as you make your way through the maze.

If possible, try to look ahead to survey for obstacles, jumps and dead ends.

Time your lean

When leaning around obstacles or leaning to collect coins, try to be quick on the trigger.

If you hold your finger on the key, you might veer your pet off the aisle or you might miss a turn. Try tapping and releasing the key to lean quickly. If you’re going around an obstacle, your pet will sway back to the center when the path is clear. If you’re leaning to collect coins, your pet will sway back to the center at a pace that allows them to collect coins as they run.

Perfect the jump

Be sure to jump at the edge of the platform or you might not make it across.

If you’re jumping for a trampoline, you must direct your pet to lean in the air. I find these jumps way easier to maneuver on a computer rather than mobile.

Jump to save time

If you’re running out of time, use the jump to move a little faster.

There’s nothing worse than hitting a long aisle and watching the clock tick down. If you have space to jump, let your pet jump ahead. The extra seconds might make all the difference.

Pardon the bump

Remember, when you fall of the path, you get bumped backward a bit. Don’t let the slight change in location confuse you. If you looked ahead, remember what you saw. It’s still out there! Get back up and keep on going.

I have never used the jump at all, tbh, I never even realised what it was for. The trickiest is indeed when those shooting spiky things are throwing you off track and then you are being placed in a DIFFERENT direction than before. Often enough, the game hangs up at that point and I am just bumping back and forth and can’t control the pet any longer.

I’m getting better at this game but am no expert. I position my fingers on the keyboard. My left pointer and middle finger on the S & D keys to lean left and right. Left thumb on the space bar to jump. My right pointer finger and middle finger on the left and right arrow keys. You just have to move through the course and not have to move your hands.

Thank you Dorothy Lou! I never thought about jumping ahead to save time.

Your tips are all very good and I already try to use all of them except I play on my iPad. I find playing on the computer to be very difficult. I’m not good with changing the keys. Using the iPad, I just touch the arrow or the jump or the lien as you call it and I agree with you practice is the key, but I don’t believe I’ve made it further than level six so far, but I usually play when my pet asks me. I really wanna win that hamster ball. I have won the trampoline. Thanks for your tips.
