Hey guys, Michael Webkinz here with a special room design post!
I love getting room designs from all of you, so I was happy when I saw that Nattie had sent me 6 great designs that actually told the classic story of “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens. As Christmas is just around the corner, I thought that today would be the perfect time to share them with all of you. I have included the captions that Nattie sent with each screenshot so, sit back, relax… and enjoy “A Christmas Carol”… as told by Nattie!
A Christmas Carol, Part One… “The Counting House in London, 1843”
Christmas Eve is cold and bleak and we are at Scrooge and Marley’s Counting house, Marley has now been dead seven years. Ebenezer Scrooge is cold hearted and says Christmas is a humbug. Scrooge declines his nephew Fred’s Christmas dinner invitation, but allows his clerk Bob Cratchit to have Christmas Day off saying that it is a poor excuse picking a man’s pocket every 25th of December:
A Christmas Carol, Part Two… “Scrooge’s bedroom and the ghost of Marley”
Scrooge is visited by his dead partner Marley’s ghost, who is cursed to wander the earth dragging heavy chains due to his life of selfishness and greed. He tells Scrooge that to avoid this fate, Scrooge will be visited by three spirits or ghosts, (the ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present, and the the Ghost of Christmas Yet to come) and that Scrooge will need to listen to them and to change his ways:
A Christmas Carol, Part three… “The ghost of Christmas Past”
The ghost of Christmas Past takes Scrooge around to happier times when Scrooge was kinder to others. He had a lonely childhood, but was close to his younger sister Fan. Here he is enjoying a Christmas party with his kind hearted boss, Mr Fezziwig. People are dancing and talking and having a good time including Ebenezer Scrooge:
A Christmas Carol, Part Four… “The Ghost of Christmas Present”.
The ghost of Christmas Present shows Scrooge all of London celebrating including the impoverished family of Bob Cratchit, his clerk. Bob’s son, Tiny Tim, is full of happiness despite being very seriously ill and the Cratchit family enjoys Christmas despite being poor:
A Christmas Carol, Part Five… “The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come”.
The last ghost shows Scrooge the funeral of a wretched man that no one attended. There is only pleasure not sadness in this man’s death. They go to the neglected grave of this man and it bears the name Ebenezer Scrooge. Scrooge then pledges to the ghost that he will change his miserly ways:
A Christmas Carol, Part Six… “Scrooge on Christmas morning”
Scrooge awakens in the morning and he hasn’t missed Christmas this year. He has repented, and he now has joy in his heart. He sends a prize turkey to the Crachit’s, gives Bob Crachit a raise, and spends the day with his nephew Fred’s family. He is a forever changed man:
The End
Congratulations Nattie and thanks for sending these in :) I truly enjoyed looking at them and appreciate all the work that went into each design.

Happy Holidays to the entire Webkinz Newz community! I hope everyone enjoys the festive season and has an amazing New Year!
Nattie, you are incredible! I am blown away by the accuracy of these rooms in telling the story of A Christmas Carol. You are amazingly imaginative and super talented! Thank you for sharing!
Wow, I so appreciate your nice words of praise. Thank you so much!
very well done, I enjoyed this
Thank you so much and I am happy to hear that.
Congratulations, Nattie! I just loved your story. Have a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas!!!
Thank you so very much. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, also!
Wow, this is awesome! I really love each room! =D The last room is especially good. Great job, Nattie, and congrats!! This is really cool! (I wish I had all of those houses in the last room, hahaa xD I have just three)
Thank you so much. I was lucky to have so many houses. If I had just 3 houses I might have put those wrought iron fences or those new trees between the houses.
Haha! I have a mansion in my house! I hardly do any rooms unless it’s a competition or if I send them in to Michael! :P
Your Webkinz re-imagining of this literary classic was simply breathtaking!! Beautifully, wonderfully done!!! Thank you, Nattie, for creating this. And thank you, Michael, for featuring it. I thoroughly enjoyed this. Happy Holidays to all. :)
Wow, those are such kind words. Thank you! Yes, I was thrilled that Michael featured them. Happy Holidays to you, also.
Those rooms are beautiful Nattie! Very imaginative and creative. Now I kinda want to see a webkinz version of a Christmas Carol animated lol.
Thank you so much. Animated webkinz version… interesting!
This is so cool! I love how accurate all these rooms are!
Well, thank you very much!
Love it! Great use of items from all over WW. Nattie, you are a real artist :) Looking forward to seeing whatever you design next!
Thank you so much. Now the pressure is on to think to something else. I think I already peaked.
How amazing! I am so impressed by the creativity and thought that went into this. If I could award a trophy, I would do so immediately!
I second that motion! Totally award winning work here. I would not be surprised it one day Nattie is a set designer for one of the major movie companies.
Exactly! Nattie did an amazing job of this. Trophy would say; “Best Christmas Story Room Award” and then put the name of the winner on the trophy.
Wow, thank you, thank you. You are both making me blush.
You’re very welcome!
that´s really really supercool.
I thank you very much.
