Hello Webkinz fans!
As many of you may have noticed, we have not retired any Webkinz plush pets in some time. Yet many of our plush pets have become very hard to find in stores. This is because we have a large number of Webkinz pets that are completely sold out from Ganz. Yes, we’ve fallen behind on our retirements and have made a plan to get all caught up!
Starting on July 27th, we will be retiring a new pet every weekend! Owners of these pets will get extra activities with bonus chances to win virtual prizes. A different activity will be made available on Saturday and Sunday.
To get the process started, we have gone ahead and retired all pets that were Holiday, Chase or made especially for a retail partner (such as Justice or Cracker Barrel). These pets will not be part of the retirement events.
Our new styles of Webkinz plush are now more collectible than ever. If you want a specific pet, let your favorite Webkinz retailer know, as new styles won’t last long. You can also find new Webkinz for purchase online at ToysRUs.com, Amazon.com and other fine retailers.
To keep you better informed, we will be posting articles here on Webkinz Newz when pets sell out, so you don’t miss your chance.
For our Webkinz Signature series fans, we will be releasing our final Signature plush this December. We can’t say exactly which pet it is, but it will be a fan-favorite dog that we haven’t made yet in Signature form. We’d like to thank all of our Signature collectors for supporting this great line since 2009.
So thank you again for being such great fans. We have some amazing new pets coming in the second half of 2013 that we really hope you enjoy.

no :’( this can’t happen! all the pets you have made are fine they can’t and shouldn’t be more colorful because biger kids like me still love webkinz ive been apart of webkinz since it started! please don’t do it to get more little kids to like webkinz they will and do ive seen many little kids in my neighborhood that have and love webkinz! p.s. I’M 12!!!! and really love webkinz
I have to agree with Stealthstorm and ILoveHorses5, I am so upset about the signatures. they are my fav kind of webkinz. :( very disappointed~dapplegreyhorse.
Please don’t get rid of webkinz.
I think that sence every weekend they are retirng a pet every month they bring a retired one back! (I love the Tiger Snake i do not have one though)

Dear Ganz,
Taking in all the information that you have given in this announcement has shocked me. I thought signatures were your best sellers. I am a kinzstagrammer which is a person on instagram who dedicates there page to webkinz. Every kinzstagrammer is so sad and is posting a lot and tagging it to #savethesigs. If you go on there you will see over 1,000 posts on that alone. Most people don’t even tagged the pic to that.
Signatures are my favorite things in the world. Honestly they are the only thing I really want to buy because all the other ones you guys are making are starting to become childish. Please consider everything I have put in this message and think about keep making signatures. It would mean a lot to hundreds of us.
Most of the people are threating to get rid of their member ships. If you get rid of signatures you will lose a lot of money and your company might crash. Please if you have time read this and show everyone else.

I agree I love webkinz sadly I only have 35 ( including only 2 sigs!!!! ) I’ve been collecting for 3 years and watching friends play since it started I’m a fan a TRUE fan. Please read what ‘cheetahgirljade’ said and consider it , I’ve already started to lack in my playing of webkinz . You’re making kids cry and quit, and honestly I think you should stop! She’s right, your company WILL crash only because 1. People pretty much collect only the sigs 2. You’re retiring to many webkinz At once! So uh yeah, please please, pppllleeeaaassseee keep making the sigs?
I think they should make a sig golden retriever mix with a yellow lab because they r adorable and my dog is one so before he dies I want to name it after him. <3
