Ganz is proud to announce that starting on January 19th, 2011, Webkinz World accounts will no longer expire.
That’s right, from January 19th on, when your Full Membership ends, you will be able to continue to play with all of your pets, items and rooms! While some features will be limited to Full and Deluxe Members, you’ll be able to enjoy your favorite arcade games and daily activities and use many of the great features that Webkinz has to offer.
Better yet, we’re making this change to accounts past and present! Any account that has expired in the past year will be opened again! Know someone who hasn’t played in a while? Let them know that on January 19th they’ll be able to log in! All of their pets will be there waiting for them!
We have lots of great improvements and surprises in store for 2011 so there’s never been a better time to “Come In and Play!”

Accounts DO expire. Maybe your friend just adopted more webkinz or bought a deluxe membership?
winter, i do’t quite understand what you are asking but are you saying, My account hasn’t expired so will it since it hasn’t expired already? The answer is no, my account expires in July and so in July my account won’t expire since the new rule. However, if i do adopt then I am a “Full” member since my account is not brought back i have kept it going. If you are “Full” i think you get benifits? If you have more questions just ask!
No winter every user weather their acount has or hasn’t exepired will stay permitent. If your acount has ended it will reopen without a webkinz on Jan 17th 2011! For the acounts who have not expired will still be there and you don’t have to get a webkinz to open it if its time expires. Starting on Jan the 17th 2011 all acounts will stay permitent! Awsome! i love this new thing i was worried mine would expire someday. but what i dont get is what it means by full players will get more things does that mean players whos accounts woundnt have expired had this new rule not come out? if you know the answere to this please leave a comment with the answere. thanks if you do :) :)
