Hey, it’s Nibbles again. I think I might have offended some of my friends and I feel kind of bad about it, but it wasn’t really my fault. I was supposed to meet Sparky and Roberta at the Arcade after lunch, but just as I was leaving, Purr-cilla showed up in her bathing suit. She wanted to go for a swim with me in my family’s new pool. I didn’t want to be rude and turn her down because I did tell her the other day that they would be welcome any time, so I figured I could just go for a quick dip with Purr-cilla and then meet my friends. The only thing is – I kind of lost track of time! I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but Purr-cilla was just being so nice to me. She kept telling me how much she liked my bathing suit and she was hanging on my every word. I guess I was just feeling flattered by all the attention.
Long story short, I missed Sparky and Roberta and when I finally tracked Sparky down at the Curio Shop he said Roberta was really upset that I didn’t show.
Oh no! I hate the thought that I stood them up. I hope they can forgive me.
I`m sure Roberta will forgive you!!! And Purr-cilla is taking advantage of your pool!!!
I really like Purr-cilla. I think she has changed at least for a while. Anyways, Nibbles, be ready for her to start not being as nice. Who knows, maybe she didn’t know you had plans and she just came over for a visit. Then maybe, she found out and came to cause trouble or came to use you for the pool or both. I want to belive the first one about just coming over for a nice visit. But Nibbles, BE READY FOR PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING!
Purr-cilla is trying to be nice but she keeps accidentally going back to her old ways and uses Nibbles, but doesn’t realize it. You goes shouldn’t be so mean to Purr-cilla.
Nibbles needs to learn what’s going on and what Purr-cilla is doing. I wonder why Roberta was upset? I will wait for another story. >>cathouse2

My aunt’s had friends like this all her life. People who call, text, or stop at her house when they need something. Than these people go months without a word. She keeps telling me with friends like that who needs enemies? I think you can sit down and explain how you did offer an open invitation to swim whenever, but you should’ve found them first. Than you could’ve invited them over also. That would’ve been fun. Next time I wouldn’t tell anybody that they’re more than welcome to come swim anytime. That’s what invites are for. Ugh, just don’t worry about it. Tell them what happened, friends listen to you. Also, the title reminded me of the hobbit (: for all of you who have read that.

Oh don’t worry Nibbles. Someday some kind of situation will come upon them and then they’ll feel bad that they missed you or whoever. It was just a mistake. I’ve had bad things happen before and I felt horrible even though it wasn’t my fault. So just think of the great time you had with Purr-cilla and just make sure that next time you go out with a couple friends, you make sure that other people know.

I agree with you all, but Nibbles could backfire Purr-Cilla’s plans and invite all of the ‘Kinz to the swimming pool, so everyone gets a chance with Nibbles. Then, just to make sure that Purr-Cilla’s not going to ruin the little “pool party,” Nibbles could politely ask Purr-Cilla if she’s okay with it, instead of just swimming with her alone, with all the ‘Kinz. Then, that way they all possibly could be friends with eachother. But, once again, I still agree with you all. -RW

I agree with all of you guys. But then, what if Purr-Cilla is actually trying to be friends with her? But I don’t think that’s very likely, since after I played nice with my brother in order to keep my own room, I went back to being mean to him. I agree Starburst, Nibbles, she’s so going to drop you! I agree with all of you guys. Nibbles, just prepare yourself, because Purr-Cilla won’t start being as nice as she was before. Purr-Cilla probably didn’t even know one bit that you had plans going on, and she just came by anyway. And really, I think that Purr-Cilla is just trying to break you down, and break up the ‘Kinz so that she can get free swims in that pool of yours and your family’s. And Nibbles, like I said, Purr-Cilla’s just breaking you down. You need to just stand up for yourself for a chance. It is an “enemy” of yours, and you probably don’t know how enemies can really be, do you? Sometimes some enemy in your life can just play around with you, and it’s happened to me a lot of times (I don’t want to explain my stories, because they’re painful for me to bring up). I mean, just don’t be around her, and don’t let her fool you! Just hang with your actual REAL friends. Poor Nibbles! She doesn’t get that this is all part of Purr-Cilla’s plan. She’s using her to break up the ‘kinz and get free swims in her pool. Why doesn’t Nibbles think it’s weird that an enemy of the ‘kinz would be so nice to her all of a sudden? And only her. And coming by to swim almost everyday? Way to much. Hopefully Nibbles can stand up to Purr-Cilla and question her actions. She needs to keep the friends she’s always had, not lose them all just for one friend that really isn’t her friend anyway. Nibbles, Purr-Cilla was doing that so she can distract you from your date (as in, hang out time, not date, date. playdate’s for little kids…). I guess she knew that you were gonna hang out, so she wanted to distract you and make Sparky and Roberta feel left out and make it seem as if it’s your fault. Not that it is, but still. ~Phoenix Wind~
