Polar Plunge is one of the most popular games in the Webkinz arcade, which is why you can find it on both Webkinz Classic (desktop app AND mobile app versions) and Webkinz Next! Each game has different trophies you can win, so here’s a closer look at them all.
To play the game, choose a slope and then help Inukshuk navigate their way down the hill, hopping over obstacles and collecting snowflakes along the way. If you hit an obstacle and your speed reaches zero, the game is over!
In 2017, the original version of the game was updated and replaced with a new one which worked on both web and mobile versions of the game. The original version of the trophy, which was awarded randomly if you crossed the finish line, was retired and replaced by new gold, silver, and bronze versions. These new trophies are awarded the first time you cross the finish line on either the easy, medium, or difficult slopes!
In Webkinz Next, the game works much the same way. But there is only 1 trophy which is awarded the first time you score more than 5000 points on any difficulty.

I can never get the gold trophy, and I reached out about this issue too. On Polar Plunge I was able to win a Bronze and Silver trophy on both easy and medium, but the issue is I cannot win the gold trophy on hard. Instead I won several silver trophies and not one gold trophy.
I won hard mode two more times after the first time, but the second time I exceeded the score limit, and the third time I got another silver instead I hope they fix this issue. I will not be playing hard mode again until it’s fixed, otherwise I will play for fun.
I have them all and must have won them before you retired the Gold Trophy. So, that one Gold Trophy will have a particular place of importance in my trophy room. I haven’t played Polar Plunge in Next, yet, but I like the look of that cute trophy, so I will have to work my way to winning that one.
There is only 1 trophy that is retired. The Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies are not retired.
I wish these trophies were sellable. My sister has several dozen of them and can’t do anything with them! Also I’ve never won the gold trophy old or new!
A few years ago, the Classic version was glitched. I was awarded bronze trophies after completing the medium slope. Does anyone know if it’s been fixed? I haven’t had the chance to see for myself.
I wish that I could’ve gotten the original trophy. I haven’t been able to get the gold trophy due to always hitting an obstacle that’s an instant game over with no way to avoid it.
I have 456 Gold, 1,690 Silver and 182 Bronze Polar Plunge Trophies. That’s 2,328 in total.
I feel a little bad, but um, your polar plunge trophies are bugged apparently. I’ve never gotten gold despite completing the hard slope, but I’ve gotten numerous bronze and silver completely all the slopes. I thought it was a points threshold tbh. :) I do like the game! It’s definitely a good arcade game on both Classic and Next in my opinion.
Same here! I’ve finished the hard slope multiple times and I’ve still never gotten the gold trophy either, I’ve only ever been awarded the bronze and silver ones. I also thought it was a points things too at first. I hope they fix this because I really want to complete the set.
