Arte Makes a friend on the Inca Trail!

Hey folks! Now some of you with eagle eyes (much like yours truly when I’m searching for gems) managed to figure out that one of the first stops on my big adventure were the amazing ancient ruins at Machu Picchu! What a spectacular sight to behold that was!

Well, I’m hitting the trail again. One trail in particular, that is! I’ve packed up my tent and my pack and I’m headed out on the Inca trail.

I have to say – all the other travelers I’ve met along the way have been a pleasure to get to know. I’ve always believed in the kindness of strangers and my instincts haven’t steered me wrong yet! In fact, just this morning I came across another Golden Retriever from the other side of the globe! Imagine that! His name’s Sven and gosh darn if he didn’t open up his supplies and share some fresh, juicy mangoes with me for breakfast.

That’s the beauty of travel, folks. Not only is there adventure around every corner, you just might find a friend there too!

Can’t wait to see where my travels take me next! See you on the trail!

This is so cool, Arte! You’re so kind–of course you found a new friend!

Does that mean we might see some Inca related rare items at some point? The Aztec theme was retired to make room for the Art Deco theme.

Does anyone else find it concerning that our mayor is galivanting around the globe instead of staying with the very Kinz that elected him? I was team Goober from the start and this just gives me more reason to worry.

Absolutely not. We don’t see people fighting or civil concerns, no food insecurity or corporate greed, we don’t see the any of those RL issues in Webkinz World and I am pretty sure that Arte is always working in the best interests of the citizens of Webkinz World. If he is out scouting around looking for great new items for us, let’s not stand in his way.

Everybody needs to take a vacation sometimes! Just as in real life, it’s not good to be in your office week after week without a break – plus Arte pulls double duty at the Curio Shop, so his decision to take a well earned vacation is valid. Goober was a great mayor and so is Arte!

@Pupwolf – Well said! I agree with you! We all need a vacation whenever possible. Arte is traveling to places I have never been, and I look forward to hearing all about his adventures. I’ve only been to two countries outside the USA. I have been to New Zealand (Hobbiton was amazing!), and Australia (we went there just to see the Australia Zoo, which was so beautiful!) At my age now, I doubt I will do anymore traveling out of the USA. Therefore, I love hearing about others travel adventures, such as Arte. :-) And, like you said, Goober was a great mayor and I’m sure he will step up and help if Arte should need him too. :-) Have a wonderful day, Pupwolf! :-)

@alucard ~ I am so happy for you, and wish I could have stowed away in your luggage! LOL! Hobbiton and all of the LOTR sites in New Zealand would definitely be a once in a lifetime trip for me. Except Canada as a child, I have never been outside the US, and only primarily the East Coast. I have a lot I need to see!

I’m not worried because he’s a great mayor and Artie needs to keep his Curio Shop well-stocked with cool artifacts for us to buy! I didn’t realize Arte was a Golden Retriever because his fur is shaggy… Anyone else surprised?
