Hey folks! Now some of you with eagle eyes (much like yours truly when I’m searching for gems) managed to figure out that one of the first stops on my big adventure were the amazing ancient ruins at Machu Picchu! What a spectacular site to behold that was!
Well, I’m hitting the trail again. One trail in particular, that is! I’ve packed up my tent and my pack and I’m headed out on the Inca trail.
I have to say – all the other travelers I’ve met along the way have been a pleasure to get to know. I’ve always believed in the kindness of strangers and my instincts haven’t steered me wrong yet! In fact, just this morning I came across another Golden Retriever from the other side of the globe! Imagine that! His name’s Sven and gosh darn if he didn’t open up his supplies and share some fresh, juicy mangoes with me for breakfast.
That’s the beauty of travel, folks. Not only is there adventure around every corner, you just might find a friend there too!
