Happy Thursday!
How has your summer been? I know some folks have already gone back to school, so we’re definitely in back-to-school season. Have you been collecting apples?
We’re kicking off today’s batch of babies with this lovely Husky. The cotton candy body color is quite subtle, but this baby’s back patterns are gorgeous! I love the combination of the serene swirl back patch with the northern lights flairs across the head and back. The silver eyes coordinate nicely, and the purple in the ears add a little bit of color to this soft pet!
Next up is this pretty pinky purple spaniel! The vibrant pink and blue sparkle ears are visible from the back, and this pet has some cute purple flairs and a pink cupcake pet patch to match. I love the fireworks eyes here, too — everything is so pinky purple and adorable!
I absolutely adore the Cotton Candy Raccoon and Pixie Tiger mixes! I think the Pixie Tiger stripes looks great on this pet, and the Pixie Tiger eyes go nicely with this color scheme as well. This cutie also has the lightning face pattern and pretty pink and teal paws!
The original Yorkie’s don’t get enough love… and there’s plenty to love! The grey rose body color really shows features off beautifully, like that tribal pattern on the back and the Rainbow Retriever’s strawberry chocolate sundae pet patch! The rainbow chest fur is one of my favorite traits, and I love the random spots on this pet. Super cute!
This cute little White Bunny baby looks great with the Landrace Pig’s pink feet! And it’s got the chest fur the match, while the ear color coordinates nicely with the seafoam green eyes. A nice assortment of colors and a very cute bunny!
This Pride Lion is another pet that looks adorable with pink feet! These come from a unicorn, even though this particular baby was sparked from a Pride Lion and a Golden Retriever. There’s a hint of pink in the mane fur with this light colored body, and the long journey back pattern is the biggest back patch I’ve seen! Love the hint of music notes on the leg, as well.
Last but not least is this adorable Giraffe/Landrace Pig hybrid! I love hybrids, and this one has some cool markings all over, but especially on the back! There’s some Moon Bear in the mix on this one and it looks great! The rainbow on the front paws gives it a pop of color in an otherwise mostly pink pet. Adorable!
That’s it for this week. I still need to adopt my Chimpanzee in anticipation of next week’s spark party on Tuesday. I’m hoping to spark one of the lime green chimpanzees! Which chimp body color is your favorite? Let us know in the comments below.

What a beautiful and unique assortment of babies this week! I love the sherbet color on the chimps. They’re such an adorable pet!
Are they only concentrating on NEXT now? Is it worth me buying pets and items on my 10 Webkinz accounts anymore?

It does seem like Ganz is concentrating more on NEXT.
Webkinz Classic has a constant stream of events and releases at least 2 new pets a month. While Next has its Seasons, it doesn’t have nearly as many regular events and much fewer pet releases.
Webkinz Classic will be updating next Wednesday, and you’ll see a whole big list of updates and upcoming events announced.
Us Next players wish we could have half of the new stuff Classic players get!
