Happy Thursday! It’s the first week of October and we are officially in spoopy season! There’s been some adorable pets in the showcase since the Vampire Kitten has returned. We’re planning on having a spark party on Halloween, but it’s very hard to wait to spark my Vampire Kittens until then!
We’re kicking off with a Vampire Kitten, of course. This is the perfect cottage witch pet — pixie feathers, a pixie hour, a broomstick back pattern, and adorable blue/purple features on the front! It’s a great combination, and I’m such a fan of the cute little jack o lantern on the chest.
This baby Timber Wolf has a few features that make it anything but common! Not only does it have an interesting back pattern, it’s got the gorgeously sparkly disco rhino ears and horns! While I love fun colored pets, I think the tan fur goes perfectly with this combination!
All right. I.. I’m so impressed with this pet. We’ve got Pixie Tiger feathers. We’ve got Rainbow Retriever rainbow ears. We’ve Cotton Candy Raccoon face pattern. And it’s a pig! It’s absolutely marvelous. New goals — a pet with traits from four different pets!
You’re not seeing double — there are two gorgeous midnight Moon Bears this week. The first one features some fun rainbow flairs on the legs, but the River Otter dark eyes are very striking here. Such a great pet.
Our other midnight Moon Bear has rainbow tipped ears instead. The soft blue Cotton Candy Raccoon eyes are lovely here, too, and this pet has some fun yet subtle tiger stripes across the back. The Cotton Candy Raccoon chest gives it a unique look, too!
It’s a dip-dyed Rocky Mountain Horse with tabby stripes! The pink and purple eyes coordinate perfectly with the purple body color and pink and purple sparkly feet. The green ears are a nice bit of contrast. All in all, a lovely pet!
We’ve got another Vampire Kitten, this time in the lovely spooky blue body color. I love how the golden wing highlight color coordinates with the River Otter’s golden clam pet patch! Then we have matching ears, tiger stripes, and eyes! It’s wonderful!
I love hybrids and I especially love the Frogs with ossicones because they look like little eyebrows! This one has some lovely patterns all over and cute heart spots on the chest.
Last but not least, we have the battle of the holidays with this gorgeous Gingerbread Puppy. While Christmas is definitely dominant here, from behind you can make out the super cute bat inner ears. The shimmer tiger stripes on the back make this pet positively magical. I just may have to spark one of these on Halloween!

A bit off-topic — why is there no Pet Favorite food for my Special Pig? I thought it wasn’t in the W-Shop because my pig was still a baby, but still nothing after growing up!?
I think my pig “Pip”‘s special food is Apple Core Pie? but it doesn’t show up in the WShop :(
FROGGY EYEBROWS!!! Huzzah! I don’t have a giraffe, but I would get one if I could spark a frog with “eyebrows”. The vampire kittens are lovely, particularly the dark blue one with the electric blue stripes. The midnight moon bears are stunning! How does one get this color – is it just the rare body color for the moon bear? I like the timber wolves just the way they are, so natural is fine with me. I like all of the traits that are happening on the gingerbread puppy and the rocky mountain horse. The precocious pink pixie piglet makes me think of a wrestler – masked, colorful, and showy – with a catchy name like “The Baconator”! Congrats to all of the featured Next parents!
