Happy Thursday! Halloween is right around the corner and there’s Halloween costumes to dress our cute pets up in. Do you dress your babies in a Halloween costume?
First up is almost the twin of last week’s Vampire Kitten! Those lovely blue eyes are so striking with the black fur color. I really love that bat swarm back pattern — it’s so spooky! I’ll definitely be sparking one of my Vampire Kittens on the next Spark Party — with any luck, I’ll get that back pattern!
I still think Moon Bears are an underrated pet, and this cute purple Moon Bear looks adorable with the Gingerbread Puppy’s dark eyes and cute snowflake back pattern! A perfect snowy moonlit night!
Part of what I love about this Holland Lop is the simplicity — a light tan body, with a simple cookie pet patch, and that awesome rainbow chest fur and Rainbow Retriever blue eyes! Nothing to distract from those adorable traits.
This is a combination I haven’t seen before — a fancy Unicorn with special White Bunny traits! This Unicorn looks super fun with the carrot back pattern, especially with all of that rainbow coloring! The ruby paws from the White Bunny also gives the Unicorn a more furry foot feel, which is definitely different — I feel like the yellow body color is a lot more visible around the feet.
It’s a pumpkin Pixie Tiger! This cutie has the fun static back pattern, which gives it a bit of an otherworldly feel, and those purple bat ears look great with the purple feathers. There’s just a touch of rainbow at the legs, and those colors coordinate nicely with the pumpkin.
This husky follows one of my favorite themes this holiday season — purple pets with pumpkins! Really cute with the snowflake patches and the purple tipped tail. I hope this one was named something suitably spooky!
Another Moon Bear? Another Moon Bear! The Pixie Tiger’s strong white back stripes looks great on this pink pet, and the blue face stripes give this pet a unique look. This Moon Bear is definitely magical!
That’s it for this week. Which baby is your favorite? Let us know in the comments below!

I’d be happy to have any of these eye-catching little cuties! I like that the pets featured this week showed me some things that I hadn’t noticed before. I really like the almost tie-dyed effect on the different moon bears. Why are they underrated? I think they look celestial, and I would love a whole room design to go with their PSI. I also noticed that having soft paw features actually changes the unicorn a lot. I’m also finding that I seem to love the vampire kitten ears on everyone. (They must be a strong trait!) I didn’t know the pixie tiger came in such a pale version. Can you get it all the way down to white, and if so, is that a pixie tiger trait, or just the luck of the right parent spark? I really like how all of the patterns show up so well on the dark black vampire kittens, particularly that spooky jack-o’-lantern face chest pattern. Could you please do an article on all of the vampire kitten traits? (If you have already done one, please just point me in the right direction so I can check it out.) Congrats to all of the featured new Next parents!
There’s an old Vampire Kitten article, but we’re going to be posting a new one soon with a proper breakdown. There aren’t any white Pixie Tigers, just the pale pink. With the Vampire Kitten, there’s only three traits that can be passed on if you’re sparking one you bought — the ears, the eyes, and the pet patch. So those ears do come up quite a bit!
Another adorable batch of sparks! Speaking of babies, are they going to help fill up hearts, with individual actions, the way they did before, or is this change permanent? I really miss having those ways to help fill up a pet heart. There really aren’t that many things to do to accomplish that – other than stand around waiting for a request. Also – it would be nice to have more things to do with your baby. The park items are fun, it would be neat to see more.
Well said, @Sonari! Could one of the staffers let us know if tending our babies is going to help with filling our pet hearts again?
Thank you, @kalcan8! I sure wish we could get a definitive answer on this. Keeping a single pet happy, even on multiple accounts, was pretty simple before, but now, with few ways to make even one pet happy, it really changes game play. It also lessens the positive feel of baby care. They’re still adorable, of course, it just makes it a little less special.
I must admit, I wish you would a button or something that we could click that would send pictures of our babies to you. Lol for those of who aren’t all that cognizant of saving pictures to our PC’s and then sending them on to you.
If it makes you feel better, I take all these screenshots myself from the Baby Showcase on Thursday mornings. None of these are submissions.
Lol actually, yes it does. I often laugh that I’m rather like Pavlov’s Dog in that Hubby has been able to teach me a few things over the years but I’m essentially a semi Luddite lol. See? There’s a need for some sort of button! :D
It’s always hard to choose a favorite, but I’m partial to pixie tigers and I love the bat pattern ears & the pumpkin patch on the pink pixie tiger. But they’re all adorable! :)
