There are two versions of the Basset Hound. The newer one is the Pet of the Month
i just entered a new code and still nthing…newer version? i still get the same adoption stuff
There’s the original Basset Hound with the stringy fur that was one of the earliest releases of Webkinz, and there’s a newer plush version that was released probably in 2018 or so. The 2018 one is the one that’s the Pet of the Month.
Its a little bit of slap in the face to old members who have the original basset hound. I still play after over ten years, yet my basset hound is no longer considered valid. :(
They are two different pets that happen to have the same name. Your Basset Hound isn’t any less valid, it just isn’t the Pet of the Month. They have different HM numbers so they are different pets.
