So I just bought the 50% off 1 year Deluxe Membership, but I have a problem…my Deluxe Membership doesn’t expire until December 7th, and nowhere, anywhere, on the entire Ganz estore website does it give you the option to cancel your automatic renewal. I want to cancel it so that when my membership expires I can just enter the code for the new one. Instead, now it’ll automatically renew on the 7th which means I’ll have two memberships and the one I got for half-off will be basically useless. So what I want to know is… how do you cancel the automatic renewal?? We called someone at Ganz but had to leave a message…if we don’t hear back from them we’ll have to call back again on Monday…I just wish it was easier to do this kind of stuff. This is the third year I’ve gotten the membership on Black Friday, and every year is just as confusing. :/
I was able to easily cancel my automatic subscription. When you log into the e-store…Go to manage Account…the click on the Manage Subscription…there is a box that you can check off to cancel the automatic renewal. When they send out the original e-mail to remind you of your account renewal they tell you how to cancel it. Hope this helps you. …boorepko

Unfortunately, I have no idea what happened to the e-mail that they sent out…I went back and looked, but I couldn’t find it. :/ I also tried the thing you said, but when I go to the Manage Subscription thing, there’s only one box that sounds like it’s talking about e-mails and stuff. Is that what you’re talking about?
Unfortunately, the only way I know how to cancel is by canceling via email when they send you the 1-month prior to auto-renewal email, although, I’ve never actually tried it before, since we’ve never had to cancel. I think boorepko might be right, though… I’d recommend trying their suggestion, and hopefully it’ll work for you! :) At least you were able to get the 50% off deal…. after over an hour of tediously typing in my parent’s billing information, all I got were repeating error messages XP I guess that means my family will have to pay full price… *sigh* :/ It wasn’t just me, either…. it seems like nearly everyone had the same issue…. hopefully they’ll extend their sale or something. Just curious, how did you get it to work?

Aw, yeah…I wish I could find that email, but I unfortunately have no idea where it went, unless my mom accidentally deleted it or something… And I tried boorepko’s suggestion, but the only box seems to be talking about emails and stuff, so I’m not sure if that’s it…yeah, that is true, at least I was able to get it for half off. I know it wasn’t working for lots of people. Aw, really? I’m sorry to hear that you weren’t able to get the deal! D: They really should extend it for the people who couldn’t get it…I know, it was happening to lots of people, so I honestly thought it would happen to me, too, but I just put the information and the promo code in, and ta-da! 50% off. It’s really odd…I don’t know why it worked for me but not lots of other people. :/

I know my mom does that sometimes… I like to order stuff online and they’ll usually send tracking emails to her inbox, but sometimes she deletes them… not exactly easy when you’re impatient and want to see when your package will come :P And ah, really? That’s too bad… :/ Unfortunately, I checked the deluxe membership FAQ thing earlier, and I think if your autorenewal payment already went through, I’m not sure if you can cancel it until the next time it comes due… however, maybe if you’re able to get ahold of them next week, seeing yours just renewed this month, maybe they can cancel it for you? If worse comes to worse, perhaps you can cancel your renewal next year and use the code then? I hope you’re able to cancel it, though, and that everything will work out! And ah, yep… sadly XP…

The really unfortunate thing was that my dad was planning on buying two of them: one for me and one for my brother (since we both have one deluxe account, and need ours renewed), and the sale would’ve saved us at least $40, between the two purchases :/ And yeah, I hope they’re able to… even if they hold a ‘make-up’ sale several weeks from now, or something… Huh, eally? I guess you got lucky! I have seen that some people were able to get it, but then a see a lot who were like me and were unable to… it’s really weird, if you ask me. I tried several different devices (two computers and my mom’s iPad), and three different browsers (Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome)… so I’m guessing maybe it was just a server problem that only let some of the transactions go through, while booting out others… or maybe it worked on a different browser that I didn’t try. I don’t know, but I do hope they can fix the issue :P I emailed them yesterday, so hopefully I’ll get a response next week. I’m glad you were able to get it, though! I hope you enjoy yours ^-^
This is what i was told by Ganz in Aug. 2016. I wrote it down: “Auto renewal is only when you purchase a Deluxe acct directly to an acct – not so if you purchase as a gift (code). So, always purchase as a code and put it on whenever and wherever. Then there is no auto renewal.” That has worked for me ever since. However, it does not help the big problem this year of not being able to buy Deluxe Memberships because of ‘error’

Yay, go us!! ;) (Hehe) I know this is off subject, but I really want the code for 50% off the deluxe membership (It expires soon!) And I tried typing in everything and on 2 different devices and it says “there seems to be an error.” I KNOW I’m typing in everything right. Is it something to do with the promo code? I think (I don’t really remember ’cause I typed the things in trying so many times) that when I did not use the promo code it was going through. But I clicked cancel because I didn’t want to spend 45. I am only planning on spending 22.50!

Hi bubbashuka! Did you make sure that with your credit card, everything is valid? What happened with mine was we typed in all the valid card stuff, but the incorrect card name. Also, make sure you use the right promo code, BFDM17. I hope this helps!

Same here bubbashuka! I need a Deluxe Membership code also, and keep getting the “there seems to be an error with your request” message. I called GANZ eStore help, but had to leave a message. I bet this is happening a lot and they’re receiving more calls thn usual, but I really hope they GET BACK TO ME TODAY! They are only open till 5:00 pm.
Hi bubbashuka, I found that when my computer used the auto fill-ins for the fields to check out that error happened to me so try typing everything in, no auto fills with the yellow background. Hope that helps.

(My membership I got recently expires the 3 of December. And then will my things be MINE? I haven’t gotten the things like the code for the animal, estore points, or anything.) Sorry if this is really confusing!! My own comment is confusing me, lol!

Hey, I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure the promo code is only for a full year of membership. So, if you’re only buying a few months or so, it probably won’t work. Hope you get it worked out!
Did you check the expiry date? If your last card expired and you haven’t entered the new expiry date it will come up as invalid and won’t let it go through. And remember a new expiry date also means a new security code as well.
This “there seems to be an error” has happened to me so many times! A few weeks ago i called and the Ganz person said to type in the address, not to use a link or bookmark. If that did not work, use another browser. Nothing worked. Finally the Ganz person did it for me. So, when it happened today on Black Fri. which i have been looking forward to for 1/2 price Deluxe Memberships, i called right away. I, too, had to leave a message and they did not call back all day. I tried over and over and over. I absolutely lost count of how many times i tried. I was trying to get both the turtle dove and the Memberships. I finally got them. I think since so many people have had this same problem on Black Friday, Ganz should extend the sale for at least one more day, and fix the problem.
