Use your dirt and maple tree wood for these awesome crafts!
If you’ve been collecting Hardwood from your Maple Tree and Dirt from your harvested crops, you should check out the Hardwood and Dirt recipes at the Wish Boutique in the Curio Shop.
Use Wish Tokens to purchase the recipe cards. You can collect Wish Tokens from your daily login gifts, the Wheel of Wow, the Fortune Teller and Seasons.
Once you purchase a recipe card, it will be stored at your Craft Table or Carpenter’s Bench. Build bricks and brick items at the Carpenter’s Bench. Create clay and clay items at the Craft Table.
If you’re wondering how to collect dirt and hardwood, don’t worry, it’s easy!
To collect Dirt, purchase some Growing Plants from the W Shop and plant them in your garden. Once you’ve harvested them ten times, they will yield Dirt. Then, Dirt will be stored with your materials, and you can use it to craft clay and brick items.
To collect Hardwood, make sure to complete the Home Away From Home challenge. Plant your Maple Tree in your yard and it will yield one piece of Hardwood each day. Collect the Hardwood, and it will be stored with your materials until you’re ready to create an item from the Hardwood collection.
The Wish Boutique refreshes its items each week so if you don’t find what you’re looking for be sure to visit again.

Thank you for giving us recipes to use the materials that are building up in our dock. I have made each of these several times (except the fireplace which I only made once. That recipe really takes commitment! Or someone who needs to be commited. Not sure. LOL!) Please continue to develop new recipes for the soil, hardwood and slag. Once I get around 1,000, I sell them until I have 200 left. It’s tedious, and doesn’t pay well, but at least it thins out my dock. (suggestion for new items: we can use soil, or hardwood to make brick or wood floor tiles that can go in the home or outside. That way we can designate and differentiate spaces for different uses.) Thank you!!
Actually, I have another suggestion for a future dispenser item that gives us wool or cotton fibers. Then we can have recipes to weave rugs of different sizes and patterns. We can also sew/knit more clothing items – hats, scarves, etc. Please give it some thought!
Hi please consider maybe making more ways to get material boxes more than only once a day from the vending machine? :)
They have 2 ways to get the box’s one from the vending machine and one from the daily gift that reset’s after you finished it. the pink crafting box’s have 6 instead of 3 items from the blue one. And i think in the past they also had some sort of orange bag thing that gave you 3 i think from a event or somthing. You opened it like a gift box.
These are adorable. Just a hint, maybe make crafting recipes to use the wood from the tree that gives you one per day that was used with the lake house, I think.
I am not sure why they made the tree tradable. If someone trades it its gone they would have to find a new tree to make the cards that use it. So maybe that’s why most just use the wood from the crafting box’s.
All of the “hardwood” recipe cards use this wood.
Could you seriously consider making recipe cards that allows you to make say 50 clay and bricks at once? It is extremely tedious to make enough of these to use.
I appreciate these recipes but some of them are exhausting to create. If you need 25 bricks to make the chair or fireplace, you must first make the clay and it takes 3 clays to make one brick! Can’t we please have the option to say how many we want?
That would be so nice not needing to go MAKE EVERY CLAY and brick and just type how many you want made. Its so annoying even if you have all the items needed. It’s boring clicking EVERY SINGLE ONE. I feel like it takes more then 20 minutes to even make a fireplace.
This!! Please consider adding a function to create higher amounts of ingredient crafts at once, how tedious it is takes all the fun out of crafting.
I was disappointed when I made the Hardwood Rocking Chair. It does NOT rock. Why call it that in it’s name?
You and me both. I made one for my second little piggie’s house of sticks (everything is wooden). It’s a cute chair and fits the decor of the room, but due to the name, I expected it to, you know, rock.
I have got the brick fireplace card. It takes a lot of time to make. Even if you do it in 1 day it still takes time. To make the items needed like bricks and clay you need 3 clay per brick and there is 25 bricks that you need to make. You find bricks on the carpenters work bench. To make clay you need 3 dirt. You find clay on the crafting table. The 2 items needed are 4 wood ( You get wood from the blue crafting boxes as well as the pink ones) and 234 dirt. You need the dirt for the clay which is used for bricks. After you make the fireplace it is 3 KinzCash coin value when you put in binder. Not sure why you need to do all that work but it is a fireplace it looks nice if you put it in the right spot.
