I’m pretty sure that the Kiwi medallions are only available during April. Don’t forget we get a gift box containing 25 kiwi medallions for logging in on Webkinz Day. However, If you don’t collect enough medallions by the end of the month, the Kiwi Bird won’t disappear. You will still be able to collect other kinds of medallions, exchange those for “any pet” medallions and then use the “any pets” to help earn the kiwi. Same with the white puppy from December – it’s still there.

I wish it really did extend your membership. Except for the monthly specials like this, having enough medallions to adopt a pet shows that we have worked hard to get Medallions and it really would be nice to get that perk.
The perk IS the FREE Kiwi pet that you can’t get anywhere else – it is our reward for working hard if you choose to get it. Ganz is a business – the requirement to purchase just one pet a year to keep your account going is not a lot to ask. Many older pets are only $5 – $6.

So please do not ask if it extends your membership as it CLEARLY says in the article and i have also post a comment saying it does NOT extend your member ship for those people who chose not to read the article. :-)
