Color Storm Arcade Challenge ON NOW!

 

Hey there arcade enthusiasts! The Color Storm Arcade Challenge starts TODAY—but don’t leave it to the last minute… You’ll only have until Sunday, July 5th (midnight, Eastern Standard Time), to complete it!

 

 

 

 

Here’s how to play. Starting TODAY, June 29th, look for the Color Storm Arcade Challenge icon in your pet’s room. It will be displayed along the left side of the room:

 

 

Click on the icon to review your tasks. There are 3 tasks you’ll need to complete by midnight, July 5th (EST) to earn all of the prizes:

 

1. Earn 300 KinzCash playing Color Storm at the Arcade
2. Make 20 wishes playing Wishing Well 2 at the Arcade
3. Buy a pair of Rain Boots from the KinzStyle Outlet

 

Move the falling blocks of color into groups of 4 to clear them from the sky. If you make a group of 6 or more, all the blocks from that same color will be cleared from the sky. If you see a “Rumble” watch out! Random blocks will fall onto the game board.

 

 

 

 

Complete all of the tasks before time runs out and you’ll win a Polka Dot Rain Coat that your pet can wear while they play at their NEW Color Storm Arcade Unit!

    This might be my favorite color matching game actually! I forgot how much Kinzcash it gives, I should play this way more often. That arcade unit is wild I love it! Here’s a tip: always plan out a spot to put your next drop on either side, they move too slow if your stacks aren’t very long. Good luck everyone!

    Let’s hope this one (=game) will work… ‘Cause yesterday’s Summer Sensation was so ‘sensational’, that I had a major throw-back because of not one, but two games! Firstly, there was a “play Cash Cow for a 25% bonus” daily activity, and I played for quite a long while (even though I had tons of other things to do, but I really had [/have] to make some K.cash, ’cause I’m really short of money and almost all my quests now require a lot of [expensive] things to buy in the Wshop)… Alas, I finally finished playing (thinking “yay, at least I gave a little boost to my ‘WK purse’!”, but what do I see after the game was over?.. -there was absolutely NO bonus!! -Zero. Nada. Not a penny… (And yes, the ‘activity’ was already and still on!) As you can imagine I was a ‘bit’ angry at my (mostly) wasted efforts and time, but I didn’t even really had time to vent out my anger, ’cause right after that I had to play WackyER Zingoz to earn a certain amount of KC for a quest -and I did make a lot of money, so much indeed, that I only would’ve had to play it again and only finish the first level to complete the quest, but when I checked my progress, there was Absolutely No KC registered in the quest (and I believe, that the money wasn’t added to my ‘balance’ either).. -now if you thought that my ‘Cash Cow adventure’ was annoying (…), I can tell you: this made me absolutely mad, because I worked a LOT on this quest (and other quests required W.ER Zingoz cash and points too) and I spent a Very Long -and irritating- amount of time playing that already quite tedious game (especially with my computer being as slow as it is, so – among other things- sweet Wacky only takes about half an hour bouncing on the ground Every Single Time he lands), so I couldn’t help but being absolutely mad, cause this little summery sensation cost me a TON of precious time and trouble, and thanks to it I couldn’t proceed with any of my quests (I’m 6 hours ahead of ‘WK time’, so I stayed up till really late in the morning, just to be able to complete all these things and it was ALL for Nothing)… All in all, I really hope that you managed to fix things and today All of the games will work properly, ’cause I honestly do not wish yesterday’s (/today’s) mysery upon Anyone… (I won’t even go as far as even thinking about asking the question: “And how exactly do you compensate players when such ‘incidents’ happen, thanks to quite poor programming and bugs?”, ’cause I know that nothing’s gonna be done about it anyway [quite sadly]… I’ll be just glad if today (and in the future) everything will work smoothly, so nobody has to go through such headaches…) I’d say “sorry for the long comment and complaining”, but, I think, anyone would agree that the complaint is absolutely rightful and, also, to be frank, I feel more sorry for all the time and energy I wasted because of these malfunctions… Thank you for your consideration.

      Elenios, I had that issue – playing a bonus game and not getting the bonus…then I found out I have to access it through Today’s Activities to get the bonus. In other words, don’t go directly to the game, click on the arrow on Today’s activities so the bonus points will register…sending you a little something to hopefully help you purchase your items.

        I did exactly that: accessed the game through ‘today’s activities’ -I always make sure to watch out for these things, exactly to avoid such headaches.. :P But thank you for your kind and helpful words; I really appreciate it! :)

(^◡^) ❣ First I didn’t realize that; I didn’t even quite understand what you meant by “sending me something to help” -I had thought it was simply the explanation in your comment that was the help.. -but that was because at that time I hadn’t yet logged in to the game, only this site, so I didn’t know about anything.. (I Was suspicious because of the name, but I was really unsure because of the ‘jumbled’ letters…) Then, when I logged in to the game and got around checking my post, I was in total shock!! (°o°) First I was like “why would you send me such a gift??!”, then I remembered your reply here (quite some time passed between logging in here and logging in to the game) and so I finally put the pieces together, and this time without a doubt!☺ But you really shouldn’t have!! ❤ I mean, I can’t even tell you how grateful I am and how much I truly appreciate it, but, at the same time, I felt quite abashed too, because I simply have no means of returning the favour or expressing my gratitude for such bounteous generosity -I’m still just a new player, you see, and not a deluxe one either, so I don’t really have anything of real value, or anything that would be ‘decent’ enough to properly say thankyou with for your altruism and munificence… ☹ But I Am truly, honestly very grateful for your gift and the overwhelming kindness and generosity that lies behind it! ☺ღ✿ -I just really don’t want you to feel like you have to take pity on me, or to help me in such an unstinting way (after all, everyone had to start somewhere, and I don’t delude myself into thinking it’s been more difficult for me than for anybody else..).☺ Anyways, I just wanted to say Thank You again and I honestly hope I can return your help and kindness one day!☺❤ (I really hope the WK staff will be gracious and understanding enough to let me say thanks in this way, ’cause -especially not being deluxe- I can’t use my own words, and the pre-written ‘thankyous’ simply can’t even come close to expressing how truly grateful I really feel..☺✿) Elenios

      That happens to me too, sometimes, on games requiring the arrow keys. My work-around: I have to log out, then back in again, then go directly to the game without doing anything else first.

      Shuckersd I’m having the same problem. I’m using the desktop app for Windows, have logged out as Powerann mentions, and I still can’t get the arrow keys to move. I have also had issues where the Arcade freezes and I can’t get the app to do anything, even logging off or closing, and I end up powering off. This has happened for a long time not just for the Color Storm challenge, and sometimes also happens in Chrome or Edge. Very frustrating! Even though I’m having these issues, I’m very glad to Webkinz for all the great challenges, games, and great prizes. Thank you, good luck and stay safe everyone!

        If the Desktop App ever freezes, use CTRL-ALT-DEL to bring up the task master and force quit it. You can also use the Windows key to bring up your taskbar. You can then right-click the Webkinz Desktop App to quit it. You may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling the Desktop App (Go to Settings -> Apps to uninstall) and see if that helps.

      I had this happen last night …so I took my mouse/cursor and clicked on the page and my arrow keys were working fine. It happens when I minimize my pet task bar.

        This is exactly what you do when you are in the middle of the game. I have had this happen to me numerous times. I take my mouse and click on the page and my arrow keys will start working again.

    I’m excited for this challenge as it should be quick, at least you get a good amount of Kinzcash per game. My favorite color matching games are Jumbleberry Blast, Pet Party Parade and Stardrops (if that counts since it’s shapes). How about Pet Party Parade for Game of the Day with lots of bonus KC??

    Dear Steve, Sally and co.: the new day of June 29 has just started and I had a serious problem with the Super Wheel on June 28! I was not allowed to spin it after I selected it on any of my accounts! I’m using Chrome, I tried restarting Webkinz, restarting my computer, and using different accounts, and I wasn’t able to spin the Super Wheel ANY time I tried! I was told “there is no event at this time”! I have never had an all day even end before 11:59 PM KT/EST before! I live a few timezones away from Eastern Time, and I ate dinner late tonight, so I wasn’t able to log onto Webkinz until after 9pm my time, 11pm KT, and not being able to participate doesn’t seem very fair to me.

      My brother had the same problem when he logged in before the day was over (10:30 our time and 11:30 webkinz time). It said “there is no event at this time”. The rest of us were on before him and got our spins but when it was his turn and he didn’t get his. We even logged out and logged back in and tried using different accounts and he got the same response. I am not sure why it ended early this time.

      Yup – happened to me as well. I guess they set the cut-off time for the Super Wheel for 11PM EST instead of 11:59PM EST.

      The same thing happened to me, too. I logged in at 11 PM KT and got the same message everytime I tried to spin the Super Wheel.

      I had the same issue. It said “There is no event at this time” even though every other Today’s Activities event worked. It was right after 8:00pm Pacific, so I wonder if it was accidentally set to end an hour early.

    i think there’s a glitch when the annoucement pops up on your screen it’s says to finish it by April 5th not july 5th but when you click on the challenge itself it says to finish it by july 5th
