With yellow, cut around 40 4 ½ inch (11 centimeters) pieces of yarn. Fold in half evenly, put hook in wanted st, and pull the loop of the folded yarn. Pull it half way, take out hook and pull both ends through loop and tug. Do this around top of toque.

Little Eye: With dark blue, ch 2, sc 6 sts in first ch, change to white in last st

Rnd 1) 2 sc in each st (12)

Zangoz Mouth And Teeth

With dark blue, sew a crooked smile.

Teeth: With white ch 2, sc 4 sts in first ch

This is adorable!!! Amazing job!!!! I wish I was into crocheting. My friend and little sister crochet all the time yet I have no clue at all XD I will have to get one of them to teach me one of these days.

For us who love this but can’t do it. HOW ABOUT an orange sock . Inside out to tie or sew top with a pom pom attached from the inside out. Yarn sewn for a mouth and felt for eyes and teeth. My Mom could crochet but I never quite got it right.

This looks really cool!! I tried crocheting once, but I was terrible, heheh. :P Oh well. My older sister is amazing at crocheting though, I don’t know how she does it XD

It’s okay, ilovemoonie! I kinda know how you feel, eheh. Well, I’m not sure if I did actually try it before…. but… I once got this cute little crochet animal set for Christmas, and I wanted to go make them, but when I pulled out the instructions, I seriously had no idea what was going on (I didn’t really know what most of the abbreviations meant and whatnot) and I knew I’d fail at it if I did it myself, so… yep :P It is now sitting somewhere in my basement, probably up on a shelf somewhere. Eh… sorry that wasn’t really related, I’m just one to post stories like that, eheh. But anywho, ah, she is?? Wow, that’s pretty cool, I’d say!!

Aw, I know how you feel, Taffy! XD The first time I tried crocheting I had no idea what was what. The loops were so confusing and looked practically invisible to me then. You should look up a YouTube video that shows how to do it up close! It’s just kind of annoying figuring out how to hold it at first, but you get used to it after a while. You should try to learn how to “single crochet” from videos and then you could do those crocheted animals! =] (For the most part, anyway. You’d probably have to look up the abbreviations online. =P Inc = Increase; means increasing the amount of stitches to your row. Dec = Decrease; means decreasing the amount of stitches in your row. There’s also sc = single crochet and dc = double crochet. There are a lot of stitches, such as hdc = half-double crochet and tc = triplecrochet, and A LOT more. But single crocheting is the basic stitch. Increasing is easy once you figure out how to single crochet, cause all you do is put another single crochet stitch in the same stitch… if that makes any sense whatsoever.. XD Sorry for this long-winded post, I can’t really help myself sometimes. XD)

My Grandma knows how to crochet! Except she hasn’t in a while. :( She used to make us stuffed animals all of the time! Even a cat hat!
