Here’s how to play. Starting TODAY, February 22nd, look for the Dashing Dolphin Trophy Challenge icon in your pet’s room. It will be displayed along the left side of the room:
Click on the icon to review your tasks. There are 3 tasks you’ll need to complete by midnight, February 28th (EST) to earn all the prizes:
- Complete 3 Agility Classes at the Kinzville Academy
- Earn 120 KinzCash playing Dashing Dolphin at the Arcade
- Spin the Wheel of WOW 4 times
You will need a Deluxe Membership in order to play Dashing Dolphin in the Arcade. Not a Deluxe Member? Join before the 28th in order to complete the Dashing Dolphin Trophy Challenge!
Complete all the tasks before time runs out and you’ll win a Beach Party Poster, along with a Dashing Dolphin Trophy!

Yes, this game is very challenging, but I have developed a few tips that I hope work for everyone! 1. The up arrow always makes your dolphin go FORWARD, no matter which way on the screen it is facing. Likewise, the left arrow always makes it turn TO THE DOLPHIN’S left left no matter which way on the screen it is facing. 2. The first 2 levels only use the up and left arrows. 3. Go slowly for control and try tapping the keys instead of holding them down. 4. align the dolphin with the white arrow at all times. 5. Keep trying. You will eventually learn the course and where the nets are. Plus, after playing many times, muscle memory starts to take over. 6. Once you have the first level down, you can start swimming through the blue hoops and jumping through the yellow hoops for more points. 7. Have fun! I actually started to have fun once I got the steering and the patterns down.
Umm… It says “Spin the Wheel of WOW 4 times” up on the page, right? Well, on Webkinz, it says “Spin the Wheel of Deluxe 4 times.” I can’t even win the trophy anymore. Did anyone else notice this mistake?
Takes too much time. Only getting 1KC per game. Not our game.
Omgoodness…this challenge was not put together with children in mind. This game is very challenging for children and people in general. Also, the game seemed to have a mind of its own. The dolphin kept going in cirlces at different parts of the game and would wander off. And the amount of kinzcash needed was ridiculous. Very hard for a child. The game only pays out 1 kinzcash per 80?? Not worth it. Might of helped if the game was able to be controlled by the use of the mouse. Please keep this in mind for future challenges. :(
That is so true. With practice, it gets easier. You become familiar with the trail of where the nets will appear. I reached 27 KC in one play after going up two levels. It really does get easier! :)
It takes some practice but I am able to get about 20KC per game now. Keep trying, you will get the hang of it – You can do it !!
This game is very difficult control. There is no way I will finish it.
The dolphin will move much faster by keeping the top arrow (forward) always pressed down while using either the right or left arrows. A challenge to control at first, but once you get the hang of it, the maneuvering gets easier. I was able to get 12 KC in one play. On other tries, I made it to a different level. Just keep trying. It is a challenge that challenges eye and hand coordination. Good luck everyone!
we can do it.. Don’t give up just keep playing . I only get 3 weakens coins per game but … I am gonna wiiiiiin!!!!! (lol)
I’ve played a few games now but still getting on 1kc per game. Sally, any chance that the KC required for the challenge can be lowered. I think by the responses left that I’m not the only one who cannot finish this challenge.
Oh my I have tried over and over and using tips from other Webkinz players. I can’t even get one KC. I really wanted to add the trophy to my collection but oh well.
I had never played it, but I love dolphins, so I thought I would give it a try, and I am usually pretty patient & good at picking up on video games, but I too kept getting 0 & 1 kc and not able to get the darn thing to move the way I was wanting it to go. Honestly I was literally smashing my hands on my keyboard & my daughter was laughing at me because I was so frustrated. I read the tips and the one that helped the most was pressing & HOLDING the UP arrow. And then tapping left and right arrows to follow the white arrow on the screen. Logic would say that when you see the arrow pointing down you should press the down arrow, but that is NOT the case. Even when the arrow is pointing down keep holding the up arrow. If you miss a net if you hold the up arrow and left or right it will turn you in a circle if you miss a net. If it is really close you can use the down arrow to back into the net. But the advice to just close out when you get off course was also helpful advice. Because it will allow you to keep going even when you are out of time but there is no benefit to that except maybe practice. But when you are frustrated as all get out, all you want to do is get the kc and literally get out of the darn game forever. If I weren’t a serious dolphin fan I would have given up before I was pounding on my keyboard. lol! Good luck.
