Dorothy Lou’s Cottage Vacation!

Winter is almost over which means cottage season is coming! My pets can’t wait to spend time by the lake again. Here’s how we decorated our favorite vacation spot.

The Front Door

I park my Speedy Scooter at my cottage because it’s an easy way to cruise the property. And, I love this Saharan Savanah Shower (Elephant PSI) because It’s a great welcome into our home away from home.

Homespun Living Room

The Homespun Theme is so charming and perfect for cottage life. I put our Elegant Christmas Tree here last holiday season and left it because it felt warm, inviting and lovely. You might also notice the Country Cottage pantry and sink in the back corner. Country Cottage is a great cottage theme and it adds a bright contrast to the Homespun items.

Nostalgic Family Room

I love this room! It’s full of all the plants, trophies, furniture items that I love but have no room for in my other homes. Also, if I owned a cottage in real life, it would look just like this, complete with a sectioned-off writing office in the corner. I love adding stuff to this room. Everything always fits here!

The Great Outdoors

Welcome to the best little vacation spot ever! We have all the comforts you can think of and enough seating for the entire family. Pull up a log and join us around the fire, slip into the hammock, maybe even cook us dinner on the barbeque. This is THE place to be.
