Sometimes, your pet may need a bit of exercise. So how do you do that on the all new Webkinz?
There are three pieces of exercise equipment currently available on Webkinz Next: the pool, trampoline and treadmill.
You can find the pool and the trampoline under Decorations -> Yard Decorations.
You can find the Treadmill under Furniture -> Living Room
When your pet asks to get some exercise, any one of these activities will satisfy it. Have fun!

That is a really neat treadmill! I was just thinking that seeing as I have such a large room for my bathroom, I can make one corner of it a workout station. Get the treadmill and pull in the trampoline from outside.
Well, I picked up the treadmill, but it turns out that I could not put the trampoline inside….so that one stays in the yard. Probably a good idea as my pets LOVE to jump really high!
I can’t wait to get the new treadmill. Have to save again….
I love seeing my pet Yorkie dog swimming in the pool (you can see him moving his paws underwater—too cute!). Great graphics!
I bought these items as soon as I could afford them in Next because I thought that they would work like they do in Classic. But was disappointed that there were no pet care points or credit towards filling their heart in Next unless the pet asks you to do it. I can exercise each pet on all 3 of them in 20-25 seconds in Classic each day. Which allows me to keep all 60 of my pet hearts full on my main account in less than 30 minutes each day. But in Next I can’t even always get 5-6 pet hearts filled up in 30 minutes. Which is why I haven’t added a new pet to my Next account in almost 2 months now. But have probably added 20 in Classic during that same 2 month period. I wanted to create babies because they are so cute & fun to take care of. But it is really time consuming to keep pet hearts full. Actually yesterday I had to keep Next open & watch it for almost 3 hours because I had missed 2 days of filling my pet’s hearts. I hope Ganz will consider giving players another way for players to be able to fill their pet hearts that isn’t solely based on pet requests that come based on a time interval…
I don’t mind this feature at all in Next. Matter of fact, I like it better. Full hearts go toward family points and I’ve got all the prizes already. Hopefully, more prize levels will be added at some point.
Well I am glad to hear that! That means Ganz is hitting the mark for some people with Classic and other people with Next. Which is smart. And reality is it is impossible to please everyone. Because I am so new to both, I haven’t probably had enough time hear what other people like and don’t like. I have ADD and am someone who always has 40 tabs open so for me to wait on things is frustrating so I have both classic & next open at the same time. Heck sometimes have it on my phone too in case there is a long time to load the park or something. LOL! I got all the family prizes too. I was surprised that they didn’t have higher levels yet given classic has them up so high. And I am sure they will award the prizes to people who’ve earn them when they do come up with them. And hearing this tells me if Ganz is hitting the mark with Next with some people, I should enjoy Classic and not spend too much time giving feedback because there are people that are liking it the way it it…I wish I could just ignore the hearts…but for me it feels like part of the point of the game…and if I stick to buying pets for classic I can fill their hearts in between the pets on Next. Thanks for sharing your opinions!
To be honest, I haven’t paid much attention to the pet hearts in Webkinz Next … I’m not exactly sure what advantage there is to keeping them full?
I simply don’t have the time too, so when I do fill a heart it’s very exciting for me! My grandson’s like to see my ‘babies’ and are excited now that they are toddlers and can go to the park. I’m working on saving gems to get another one of the NEXT pets at the new adoption center so that when my babies grow up we can make more babies! (I love that part!)
