Hi, kittymade10! It’s true that GanzRewards will be leaving us, but we don’t know when. There won’t be any new prizes added, but you can continue to earn and spend GanzRewards in the meantime.
Hey Fiona I have a question, I’ve always wanted to know how many staff you guys have, like is it a few 100? or more? I know game companies have a lot of people working and I always thought it was interesting how a lot of people could work on a game project or a online game. – metaknight200
Thanks for your question, metaknight200! That’s a tricky question to answer, as Webkinz World is just a tiny part of a huge ol’ company, and many folks wear multiple hats — but it’s safe to say that as few as 30 people to more than 300 have at times worked on games produced by Ganz.
Hey Fiona! I was wondering- with May being all about birdwatching, what kind of bird are you? I don’t think there are any pets like you in Webkinz… I was thinking you might be a pigeon because there used to be carrier pigeons that delivered messages- which is kind of your thing! If so, I’d love to see a pigeon pet in Webkinz! :D – bullseyejingles444

I know this off topic, but did anyone else have technical issues today? We got kicked out of our Jumbleberry Fields game, and lost our daily play before completion. Also, our Lighting Backdrop from Rockerz theme was removed from our room, place back in our dock, and cannot be place again. Strange happenings. I hope temporary in nature. The backdrop is one of our favorite items ever.
Lots of us had issues yesterday – buying items that did not appear, no berries from the game, getting logged off etc. Hopefully this is a very temp. glich and will be fixed quickly.
Yes also when you click the ad for Appreciation Day is comes up invalid. Will they give us the free item on another day?!?!
It is extremely disappointing to see the rewards go without a bang! I have 500,000 points and am very disappointed old items will not be available before its end.
They haven’t closed off the rewards, yet. It’s wuite obvious that we will be able to collect our Moneyz for a while and they will let us know in plenty of time, that the rewardz will no longer be used. They aren’t adding anything NEW. I think if we appealed to them, though, they might make the things like the Social Media Outdoor bed and the Hockey rink available, even though we can’t trade them they really are nice things to have in our virtual rooms for decorating.

Moneyz are very easy to make. All you have to do is finish one treasure hunt, one peek-a-Newz and one daily food and you have the full 500 points.

You can buy an on-line pet through the estore, the little kinz pets or regular kinz pets.
Hello, Fiona. Do you think you could shed some light onto what happened to the social media superstars? I know you guys used to award them every month and that back in 2017 that changed, but the most recent one I could find was from March of that year. What happened to it? Thanks in advanced for answering, newtonkinz.
The last Social Media Superstar was October last year. Her name was Joi. After the award, Joi seemed to perk up a bit from a dire diagnosis. After December 27th, she stopped showing up. Joi has been quite ill before she received the award. We post, every now and again, hoping she might still be well enough to see that we are still thinking of her. But since then we’ve not seen another Social Media Superstar. Prior to that was DogFish and this user was chosen in March 2017. This is one is one of the most friendliest, helpful and generous members of this (and Kinz-cross communities). But, NewtonKinz, I agree. Will we see another SMS* ?

No, I’m pretty sure that isn’t why. I know when you have 10 Pets full you get 50% more KC (when family score is working correctly) in some cases I was getting 1500, in others smaller amounts. I sold a W gem to Arte for 1000 KC And under the bonus I netted another 500. Every pet happy, gives you 5% up to 10 pets maximum which increases to 50. 1 happy pet = 5% 2 =10% 3 = 15% you get the idea. So, if you earn money playing games, selling gems or selling Stars, you used to get upward of 50% more. And believe me, with the Big Button of Kinzcash, I had one MONSTER payout of 1765 PLUS 883 bonus KC! Yup … went straight to Arte and bought me a Fine Antique, I did.
