Hello Webkinz Newz readers, Ella McWoof here with a special report! Earlier this month you voted for the Hotel room theme to be the next theme released in the W-Shop. Our artists here at Webkinz headquarters have been hard at work and I am pleased to show you the first set of concept drawings! The 3D artists will use these drawings as a guide when actually creating the final items that will be available in the W-Shop on July 21st.
You may have seen this first concept drawing already. It was the only image that players could use to decide whether or not they wanted to vote for the Hotel theme. The vote actually took place right here on Webkinz Newz from June 6 – 8:
Now here is a beautiful sofa that looks like it would belong in a hotel lobby. Notice that it’s shaped like a semi circle so when you place two of them back to back you can create an elegant round sofa:
Here is a room service meal cart that many players suggested they would like to see included with this theme. This cart actually works as a fridge so you’ll be able to store you favorite foods here:
Finally, here’s a look at the bed that will be included with this theme. Did you noticed the two mints that are resting by the pillows?:

I really like the golden trim on the bed. However, there are a few aesthetic issues which don’t quite seem to fit the item very well. The foremost and predominant issue is that the headboard of the bed does not appear to be connected to the actual bedframe. This gives the illusion of the headboard being an entirely separate item. In regards to the coverings on the bed – The sheets appear a tad soiled; not the clean & comfortable sheets you may hope for. A whiter or bluer shade, along with perhaps some designs on them such as flowers, could be well-served. In addition, the pillows are off-centered, with one of them beginning to reach off of the right-most edge. In regards to the chair, the legs could do with an enhanced shade of brown or mahogany color to them. If such a color can be added, matching the bedframe to the same type of mahogany color would be a nice complementary touch. As for the serving cart, a dual opinion. On one hand, it’s a great concept that it serves the same functionality as a fridge. However, a suggestion would be for it to perhaps have more storage space within than a standard, default “fridge”. On the subject of perhaps future items, it would be great to have the opportunity to get additional blue items with gold trims to them; as people had voted in the previous polling. WoW!!! I love these awesome designs! How about “Hotel Royale sofa hub”, or “Hotel Royale sofa-in-the-round” for the round sofa? What about “Royale room service cart” for the room service cart? “Hotel Royale divine davenport” or “Hotel Royale wingback chair” for the chair, and “Hotel Royale king sleeper” for the bed?
Fabulous designs! I especially LOVE the cool sofa! This will be an amazing theme!
I hope this is going to be a very big theme with many items. I hope to see a bedside table, a lamp, a window, dining table, carpet, wallpaper, small hotel room fridge, microwave, and a bookcase.
I don’t think they have ever released a microwave before.
Really elegant and exciting! I can’t wait for this room theme to come out. I love the room service cart and I am hoping to see more really hotel-specific items in this theme. I also think that the semi-circle sofa could look great in so many different spaces. Yay! I’m so happy about this new room theme! :D

Wow, just, wow. This is amazing. I especially love the circle sofa. Elegant and stylish. Can’t wait to see the rest of the theme. I’m already saving up to buy these!!!!
I think it would be cool if you could make a type of stairway that leads to the hotel rooms, or an old looking elevator.
I love the furniture so far and honestly I would have loved any of the three themes! I always enjoy when webkinz releases new furniture themes! Hope to see more soon!
