Hey, it’s Salley Cat. I just heard about this really cool new challenge. It’s called the ‘Presidential Active Lifestyle Award’ or PALA. The President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition wants to promote a healthy lifestyle by encouraging us all to get more active. To earn PALA kids have to engage in 60 minutes five to six days a week for six weeks. At first I thought that sounded like a lot, but when I thought about it, I play soccer a couple of times a week and go swimming with Stoogles once a week, not to mention running all over Kinzville with the ‘Kinz Crew all the time. I’ll bet you with a few small changes I could make it to 60 minutes easy. I’m gonna try!
I’m going to head over to the The President’s Challenge website at www.presidentschallenge.org and sign up right now. They’ve even got downloadable PDFs to help me track my progress.

okay so we do this at my school for gym class and i have all ready done it last school year but I will do it over again cause it is so fun and I am telling my friends about this!!!!!!!!!!!!! the first day i went swimmig laps in the pool then the next day i went to dance class for 3 hours then i rode my bike and scooter around the block twice and today I have soccer practice. i think this is awesome!!!!!!!! :) :-)

I do an hour and a half of ballet once a week and an hour and a half of jaz dance once a week too then I do swimming for an hour ever friday and half an hour every other day…
i played a hour and a half soccer game in the blazing heat almost having a heat stroke and then i went swimming for 2 hours it was so much i could not believe how much fun i was having
i am sooo going to take this challenge lol
