Hey, it’s Salley Cat. I just heard about this really cool new challenge. It’s called the ‘Presidential Active Lifestyle Award’ or PALA. The President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition wants to promote a healthy lifestyle by encouraging us all to get more active. To earn PALA kids have to engage in 60 minutes five to six days a week for six weeks. At first I thought that sounded like a lot, but when I thought about it, I play soccer a couple of times a week and go swimming with Stoogles once a week, not to mention running all over Kinzville with the ‘Kinz Crew all the time. I’ll bet you with a few small changes I could make it to 60 minutes easy. I’m gonna try!
I’m going to head over to the The President’s Challenge website at www.presidentschallenge.org and sign up right now. They’ve even got downloadable PDFs to help me track my progress.
So whaddaya think? Wanna take the PALA Challenge with me?

well i do hockey wich is a lot of exersize and go on walks with our dog.
My school sets uo the same thing for all the middle school students. It’s not fun at school because you dont choose what you do.
i am not going to exercise for an hour!!! >:(
My sister and I go on bike rides pretty often ,we go on this one that’s 20 miles long, but the last trail is my favorite it’s a rough mountain trail that gos for 5 miles! yay soo much fun!!!!:-)

Well Since i am on a professional swim team i swim for 2 hours everyday but not sunday so i can just find something to do on sundays This will be really easy!!!!!!!! Any suggestions on what i should do on sundays? cuz i have no clue! -lumpiedoda
You should run or bike
if you have a dog you could walk it or just go on a walk by yourself and you could bike ride go on a run.
Im on the volleyball team for my school and my team and I strech for 15 minutes and we practice for 2 hours every week day.
