It’s time to start collecting candy AND awesome costumes in Webkinz Next!

Starting today until October 31, look for the ghost around Kinzville and in the Mines and click on it to earn one of six new costume pieces! There’s an awesome Dragon costume and a striking Medusa to collect!

The ghost will only ever appear in one place at a time, so if you spot it, be sure to invite your friends to its location so that everyone gets a chance to collect these cute costumes! You can collect prizes from the ghost up to three times a day.

It’s also time to start trick-or-treating at Trick or Treat stations outside buildings around Kinzville! You can collect candy from each station once per day. There are nine candies to collect including four new ones!

I clicked the ghost and got something other than a costume piece, it’s really cool but I don’t see anywhere that the ghost is supposed to give something other than a costume piece?

Is the ghost ever inside a building?
No, the ghost is either outside in Kinzville or in the Mines.

Anyone having difficulty finding the ghost? I’ve been on for two hours and he is not appearing. Several times, though, others have said he “just left”. Is there a trick to this?
Finding the ghost is sometimes tricky and certainly takes patience. I have gotten lucky a couple times when I go mine for gems and there it is. My advice to make sure your pet is in the “over the shoulder” viewpoint – really helpful when you are looking for items around Kinzville. Also, I tend to wait near the area where the Great Cookoff appears. That area gives a vantage point of almost everywhere – I frequently turn my pet around to see all around me and move my pet to areas not in my sight. It’s definitely more time consuming then finding the ghost in the Classic reading room.
Hi @kadielle. The best advice that I have, that has been tested and advised by multiple sources, is that if you don’t see the ghost, or have reports of a ghost sighting within 5 minutes, log out and then back in. Seriously, set a timer. I personally have best luck standing in the town square in front of the Adoption Center and Town Hall. I periodically jump to other parts of the town map just to make sure that the ghost isn’t present and out of my viewing area. Players are usually pretty good about reporting ghost sightings, so pay close attention to the comments being made. Make sure that you have adjusted your view all the way out to see the most area. I usually invite my friends to join me when I spot the ghost, so that they can teleport to the exact location where he is. If he pops in every 5 minutes or so, technically it should take no more than 15 minutes to collect your three prizes for the day. Lastly, don’t run, pop over to new locations by selecting them on the map interface. (“Go to Kinzville” on the bottom right, click and select exactly where you want to pop into. It’s a great way to quickly cover all four corners of the map and make sure the ghost isn’t quietly hanging out somewhere.) Best of luck!
What is the ghost schedule? Is it once an hour on the hour or every 30 minutes?
The Halloween Stereo doesn’t play music. Will this be changed??
all of mine was the dragon only so i hope for the randomness but i guess it makes for a trade, but it hard to trade some wants my everything i have, lol for item , its madness i say just pure holiday joy, love the ghost he is coooool.
