Groundhog Day Recipe

Shadow or no, this is one groundhog that won’t hang around for long.

What you need:

-          Twix bar

-          Powdered doughnuts

-          M&Ms

-          M&M Minis

-          Candy eyeballs

-          Chocolate chips

-          Icing

What you do:

Using your icing as glue, stick two candy eyes onto the Twix bar near one end. Just below the eyes, stick a red M&M Mini and below that stick two brown M&Ms. When the icing has set, prop your groundhog up in its doughnut hole and using more icing, stick two chocolate chips on top for ears.

This groundhog may not accurately predict how long winter will last, but we can accurately predict that you will find it delicious!

Looks tasty. Makes me want some chocolate… or donuts. ;) I love donuts! And chocolate, and icecream… Ok, yeah, you get the point. “Life is short. Eat desert first.” I got that from my Dad.

Cool! My mom and I would make these candy groundhogs and stick them into a cake! We didn’t make any special desert this year though, we just did a plain pound cake. :) Happy Groundhogs Day!!!! :D
