i used to take piano lessons when i was younger i didn’t like it after while. i haven’t been on webkinz in a while because I’m working on a big 1500 jigsaw puzzle.
I played for a year back in high school, if that counts. And then after that I had no piano to practice on, so I forgot everything I learned. Now it’s just the clarinet and handbells for me, though I’d really LOVE to relearn the piano. And to learn the violin. And the harp. (I wish they’d offered more instruments in my school.)
That counts to me RockRfox :) Yeah I play the piano, and a little bit of the drums, guitare, and violin :)
I play clarinet and my sister plays the flute, she is SUPER good, better than me! and she is two years younger then me!! lol :)

I LOVE playing the piano! I’m teaching myself with my keyboard, and am currintly working on fur elise, ans a song called Autumn. My favorite songs are, The Can Can, and, The Malaguene.

Whoa, me too, oats34WK! Well, technically I’m only just turning 30. I’ve felt kinda weird about being so old and playing, but Webkinz is just so cute and fun I can’t help it! It was the adorable plush foxes that got me started, and the room decorating and games and everything that keep me coming back. I guess I don’t have to feel so weird about liking it if there are other people my age and even older who also do. You know, I’ve even been surprised that some of the games in the arcade are supposed to be for little kids; they can be pretty challenging! I think Webkinz is good for anyone who has fun with it.

OK A LITTLE TRUTH HERE !! I am almost 60 and play with my grandchildren 300 miles away in the military. Its fancy PAPER DOLLS but more fun. It’s a place to relax destress and just have fun. Safe and fun SOMEDAY you can share your stuff with your children . Let your Mom see this and What I wrote she just might change her mind . This is far better a place than some shoot up game. Oh Good Luck and I hope all of us have helped. Just don’t go crazy spending a lot of money here. Always as you grow Bills and Grocery’s are paid for 1st then some for fun ;) .
Yup same here RockRfox, in my 30′s too and felt funny about it. But I play because my daughter plays, and love it! My first webkinz was the schnauzer (remember the song Mustache Louie?!)

So happy someone dared to breach this topic!! Though GANZ may have intended this to be a little kids’ game, much like to the opposite, the Flintstones cartoon was to be for adults….well, let’s just say “reality” (get the irony??) is sometimes…unpredictable! My account was originally begun by my son (who was given the American Buffalo–the first he put online–by another mom who played at the time)…For a long time I kept some of his rooms intact out of respect…but now that he has let go, I have taken full creative control and this is truly my account, with over 600 pets and nearly 400 rooms. It is a place I go for me….I am very careful to be nice in the trading rooms, etc., as there may be young children there, but no matter anyone’s age, who does not appreciate being respected? But just to make clear, not this is not a kids’ game any longer. It is a place for people who want to be creative and have a place to call their very own–full of potential, possibility, escape….have fun all and peace out ;)
This is a really lovely response. It’s great to hear that people of all ages enjoy Webkinz and use it as a creative outlet. I do want to make it very clear, however, that Webkinz has always been and will always be created for children. Our goal is creating a fun and safe website for kids everywhere (though it’s great if adults enjoy it too). This understanding – that Webkinz is made for children – guides all of our creative decisions and more specifically, our dedication to the online safety of children. Again, it’s wonderful that we have players of all ages, but Webkinz is a children’s game first, foremost and forever.
Thank you Gennelle, of course! :) I do realize and remember that (and such intent is evident and appreciated) and I would neither negate nor minimize the creators’ original or continuing goal–but more accurately perhaps, point out that well, a great game is a great game (hopefully into perpetuity… ;) This will hopefully be taken as a compliment by the creators… I can tell that young children are still discovering the magic that is Webkinz and that makes me happy :)

iloveblue – Tell your mom that lots of us are older. I’m a grandmother and I love to play here. It’s an inexpensive form of entertainment that isn’t harmful to my health and nobody gets hurt or put in any danger doing it. It’s my escape. You’re never too old for webkinz!
Along with others I am over 50 and have 3 houses. This is a great place to play non-violent games and have lots of fun. Maybe your mom should try it. I’m not deluxe, but I love webkinz just the same.

I think the candy apple seeds are cool, but unfortunately I don’t tend my garden a lot. I’m torn between the Neo Gothic Piano (which I have but you can never have too many Neo Gothic Pianos) and the Medieval Canopy Tent (for my Mohawk Chihuahua Lemmy’s circus-themed room). Now, if only there were some way for me to be able to remember to log in on Halloween…

Not sure where to write to get my comments read quickly so here goes…I won the candy apple seeds on the wheel this am and have many people who would trade chair with me BUT CHAIR IS NOT TRADEABLE OR KINZPOSTABLE. Now here’s the rub–I immediately contacted estore CS and they could not find it as estore item, so that is not why…also, they were able to place it for postability!! So they recommended and I agreed to contact email CS, as they felt it must be an error which can be corrected, but we know that can sometimes take weeks….SOOOO Genelle, or whomever of our trusty W friends is reading this, CAN YOU PLEASE PRETTY PLEASE PASS ON THIS PROBLEM AND SEE IF WE CAN SOON TRADE THE CHAIR. WE WOULD ALL BE SO GRATEFUL. THANKS BUNCHES!!!!!
