It seems a little silly to start thinking about Halloween in July, but we have to plan ahead! We will be adding a new Halloween room theme to the W Shop on October 1st and we need your help to decide which one to add.
You have 3 themes to choose from and on July 24th, you’ll be able to vote for your favorite. The theme that receives the most votes from the Webkinz Newz community will be added to the W Shop on October 1st.
Here’s the catch… you’ll only be able to look at a concept drawing from each theme to decide which one to vote for. Look over each concept drawing carefully, because once the winning theme has been decided, the concept drawing will be used as inspiration for the rest of the items that will be included in the theme.
The first theme you have to choose from is the Glampire theme. This theme would include furniture that would be found in a teenage vampire’s room. Think pink, glitter and the undead! Here’s a look at the concept drawing for the Glampire room theme:
Trick or Treat Street is your next choice. This would be an outdoor room theme featuring home fronts and furniture decorated for Halloween. Here’s a look at the concept drawing for a bench that would be included in the theme:
Your third choice is the Cauldron Cafe room theme. This theme would consist of items that would be found in a restaurant or cafe that caters to witches and wizards. Expect a lot of weathered wood and spider webs! Here’s a look at a booth seat that would be included in the theme:
You can vote for your favorite Halloween room theme from July 24th – July 25th (ending at midnight, EST), right here on Webkinz Newz. Once the winning theme has been determined, make sure you check Webkinz Newz often, because we’ll be posting concept drawings of each item as they are being created, allowing you to offer feedback before the finals items are made.
Which theme will you be voting for? Let us know in the comment section below…
My choice is Glampire which is colourful and unique. I am sure this theme will pop over the others. The other ones look refurbished or eerie which we have had.
My favorite is the Trick or Treat Street
I really want Cauldron Cafe for the Hogwarts section of my pets’ home! Second place would be Glampire–my glamorous pop star Turtledove would love that. Trick Or Treat Street looks great too, but I’d rather have more indoor stuff.
I really want the Cauldron Cafe too! The Hogwarts themed section of your webkinz home sounds cool. Would you please add me on webkinz so i can see it sometime?
trick or feet street
Trick or Treat Street for sure!!!!
Trick or Treat Street for me!
Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday, so it is very hard to pick. For me it’s really down to Cauldron Cafe and Trick or Treat Street. So many possibilities for wonderful items. For Trick or Treat Street of course all the home fronts would have to have their porch light on for trick or treaters, but there could also be that scary home front that no one really wants to walk up to. It would be very cool if the scary home front was actually a dispenser too. Give the brave trick or treaters a treat for being courageous. There could as be a witch on her broomstick statue, a bowl full of candy that could possibly be a dispenser also, a big witch cauldron that would work as a stove, some creepy fencing with webs and spiders, a plushy of a black cat with her fur and tail up, maybe some skulls for decorations, a skeleton in a rocking chair, some black and purple cobblestones tiles that change to orange and black as you rotate them, some black and creepy lamp posts, some burnt bushes and dead grass tiles. For the Cauldron Cafe, it would be very cool if the items could be inspired by the Harry Potter books/movies. Small one square tables with butterbeer already on them, a fireplace with some pegs and witch hats hanging from them, maybe a sign that says check your wands at the door, the witch’s caldron stove would works for this one too. Of course some counters, maybe a sink that has colorful spilled potions on/around it, a three tap dispenser that sits on the counter and gives out 1-3 different drinks, a cauldron bean bag chair to put by the fireplace, a wall decoration of pegs with black or purple cloaks hanging from it. Of course wallpaper and flooring that looks like a cafe/pub, some windows that look like they are looking out on something that looks like Diagon Alley, maybe a room divider and a bed so the cafe owner could have a small area for when he works too late. So many ideas going on in my head. Did I say I love Halloween? ;) Of course my house is always the one the kids are scared to come up to, so I have to have really great candy for the brave kids.
Glampire theme for sure. My little gothic heart would loooooooove this baby bat room
I love them all! Trick-or-Treat Street is classic Halloween, Cauldron Cafe has that old-fashioned witchy feel to it, and Glampire looks like it came right out of the world of Monster High! I don’t even know if I’ll be able to decide on just one, since I think they all are great! Whichever two lose, I hope they are revisited as voting options in the future, since the saddest thing about this vote is only one of the themes can be put in the W-Shop in the end! (I hope neither of the losers ever show up in the eStore, since that would be even sadder.)
trick or treat street is my favorite!
