I like filling those hearts. Once one pet is happy, they head to bed and I wake up another. The prizes are the incentive. It does take a long time in Classic to reach the next prize. In Next I didn’t bother since I earned all of the prizes. Now I am trying to get the max points everyday since I heard about the upgrade coming and my points will count!
I have all the prizes in both classic and next but did not intentionally do extra activities to raise my score to get them. It just happens from playing the game.
Not all that important. It didn’t take long to complete in NEXT. Still working on Classic – not quite halfway to getting the Gizmo buddy. Taking awhile because keep pet asleep when playing. Don’t like being interrupted with pet needs when doing an activity.
Filling hearts and family score is an unrewarding task. Perhaps more prizes or more daily actions that could fill a heart or with achievable short goals (or transferable) prizes would help make it an attractive feature.
Its nice since you do not have to spend money to win a prize. I also like the gifts and its like the prizes for the games in NEXT. You get something for just playing.
The prizes are what makes me do all the daily stuff. I like the high score that I have. Just as long as the gifts are good I will keep playing. My score in classic keep climbing and I wish their were more prizes. Those that like it play .
With the huge number between prizes on classic I have no incentive to actively try and add to my daily scores. I’ve gone way beyond the current “Next” prizes and they are such a hodgepodge they are hard to use. A series of theme related prizes might make more sense. Thanks for working on this. I really enjoy Next.

I’m sure some people will disagree with me (because who doesn’t love more content?) but it’s not something I actively pay attention to. I think the prizes are super cool and I’m excited when I get one. I don’t do the family score stuff daily however. I do try to avoid filling the hearts of my kid pets too because then they no longer get growth tasks for the day. All that said, I do love the prizes! I just got the KC machine, it’s great!! I’m Sure some people pay attention to family score when they add/trade people as well but I personally never look lol.
For me it’s the same as I’ve always felt towards Classic’s family score – it’s important as long as there was prizes to be won. Once I’ve completed those it is just a big number on my screen that I mostly don’t look at.

This is a perfect answer. As long as there are prizes to be won, it’s a good thing. The bad part of it in classic was the huge gap between prizes as you got higher. It didn’t want to make me work harder, but just the opposite. I got bored with it. i finished it, but didn’t enjoy it much.
