Effects are a fun feature exclusive to Webkinz Next!
Effects are awarded as a Daily Item or they can be collected during special holidays or events.
Once you’ve collected your effect, it will be stored in the food section of your dock. Feed it to your pet and the effect will take place for 20 minutes.
Also, you can collect a Butterfly Effect at the Farmer’s Market on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Visit the face painting booth and the butterflies will appear immediately.
Pet effects are so much fun, especially when visiting Kinzville. Your pet will definitely stand out with a sparkling and colorful effect.

My favourites are probably paw prints and flower snacks. I think some of them, like the orange snack, could use a saturation boost—sometimes it’s hard to tell they’re active because they blend in around Kinzville!
The music note effect doesn’t really seem to work anymore. Is it just me? I haven’t tried lately. I’ve just been selling them because I thought they were broken. My favorites, besides the butterflies, are the falling particles, snowflakes, and the rocket pop.
Just letting the team know that the floral French windows are still broken on Webkinz Next. I have checked daily and taken them out and put them back in my room. Thanks!:)
