The new webkinz looks great. But I have to much Invested in the classic. If I was about to get all the pets and stuff I had in the classic. I would play the new.

I have played since 2007 and here is my intake on the new game. I understand that the new game is still having kinks worked with it. For me it glitches a lot; the sound suddenly stopped worked, playing it on a mobile device is a pain because you barely click and your pet switches to a different room. I am a little upset to see that the clubhouse and vacation island are gone, but the park is still there. So I am hoping that at least the clubhouse comes into play with an update. As far as the “Classic” webkinz which it isn’t the classic. This is Webkinz X that replaced what most know as the classic. But anyway, ever since this new game came out, the Old webkinz freezes to where I have to completely shutdown my laptop by holding the power button, because the game won’t even close. As for the new plush rumor; if it is true, I honestly hope they don’t look like the Webkinz Jr plush (those were kind of bad). But I also hope they don’t look like the classics either. Keep the originals, well original. Personally as of right now, I feel the new game will like Amazing World and not be as popular as planned…. this is just my honest opinion for feedback.
The game has only just been released. Classic has had 16 years of development. You can’t expect something new to have all of the same features. Webkinz World in 2005 didn’t have either of those either.
When they developed this new version/game, why didn’t they work it out so we could transfer all of our “classic” items over….pets, clothes, prizes, food, etc. Most of us have been collecting for years and to just give that up. I guess “classic” is gone in Dec???
No. Classic isn’t going anywhere, and it wasn’t possible to re-create 16 years of content for the new site. You can continue playing in Classic through the Desktop App, even after browsers discontinue support for Flash.
I just logged on through Microsoft which is much better on the desktop than phone but still can’t receive the arcade prizes, the challenge prizes. I”m sure it will get better. It’s definitely different but nice to have two games. How do you “create” children? I wish tehre was a guide. I think we all needed a little surprise this year and if you like the game or not, it was a good idea on Ganz part.
Where can I purchase adoption codes for new webkinz?
I think the new game has some nice ideas and could be fun. However, I have played Webkinz from nearly the beginning and I will stick with the classic. I, like many people worry they will shut down the classic game. That is what they did with Amazing World, and gave almost no warning. I really hope this is not their plan.
Amazing World wasn’t nearly as popular as Webkinz World. There are no plans to discontinue Classic.
Are you guys still going to update the webkinz classic, like add new pets, events and challenges?

New Webkinz won’t let me use my classic Webkinz login. It keeps saying that the information is incorrect but it’s not. How do I fix this?

I got the new Webkinz and realized that the adoption codes are longer than the normal ones.
